BCmint originally had 3 manufacturers that minted the metal portion of the Physical Bitcoin. The "2020-T (TEST)" series coins were from one of the manufacturers that made the edge of the coin as a "gear edge" rather than a "smooth edge". We ended up selecting the best manufacturer, and the smooth edge. 50 of these coins "gear edge" coins were received. 47 survived and were minted with key pairs. Some of these coins were given for free to the first wave of online orders from bitcointalk.org due to the fact that our original shipping was delayed and returned by customs. Some were given away to friends in the bitcoin community. The final 16 coins are at the new US fulfillment center in order to test this new method of shipping, and are for sale on bcmint.com.
