Disclaimer: I'm not here to sell you anything. At this point in time I have little more than an idea, and tons of determination. I'm looking for feedback and possibly team-members/co-founders. That being said, here's my pitch:

Ethergy
An .io style free-to-play space game!

-Website-     -Twitter-     -Reddit-     -Medium-

Lately I've been playing a lot of .io games like slither.io and diep.io, which got me thinking about a new game.

A top-down, multiplayer, browser game where players fly around on a shared map and collect resources from asteroids. If a ship is destroyed all resources it held are dropped.
Players can bank their resources at their base, and use them to upgrade their ship, craft consumables, or sell them on an in-game market.
One of the raw materials dropped by asteroids can be crafted into the in-game currency, which would also be an erc-20 token. This currency is used as for all trades on the in-game market and can be withdrawn and traded on various dex's.

Essentially, a crypto currency that is mined by playing, and backed by in-game use!

Additionally, ships would be erc-721 tokens than are unique in visual customization, performance upgrades, and statistics like how far they've traveled, etc.
These ships can be bought, sold, or rented out among players. But watch out! If you're ship is destroyed three times, it's gone...

You can find a more detailed explanation of everything here.
