Some people have problems memorizing their usernames and passwords because we sometimes create multiple email accounts to separate our social media accounts, subscription accounts, crypto wallet accounts, and business accounts to be more organized and prevent us from getting hacked all at once.

I also have problems in memorizing all of my accounts because I always used different passwords in my accounts for more protection and security. The disadvantage of it is even I have strong passwords, and I use Two-Factor Authentication in my accounts, it will be useless if I will only forget my passwords. So I decided to list my accounts after I create one for me to remember and not to lose my accounts. The best way that I know about storing your accounts and private keys without using or downloading any software is by using a folder and notepad in Windows 10.

Step 1:
Create a folder, and rename it in any file name.

Step 2:
Copy the code from this link https://pastebin.com/K5Y9s3e5 and paste it in a notepad.

Step 3:
Then, change your password in anything you want.

Step 4:
Save as the notepad into the folder that you have created, and rename the notepad in any filename and put a .bat at the end of the file name.

Step 5:
Double click the .bat that you have created and enter the password that you have entered; then a Private folder will show up.

Step 6:
Open the notepad and list all of the accounts or private keys that you want to store or put the things that are important to you and save it in the Private folder.

Step 7:
Double click the .bat to lock the folder again type y or Y, and the folder will be locked and hidden.

Don't do this.

This gives you a false sense of security.

It is completely absurd to encrypt something with the password being directly accessible.

Anyone can access your folder and check the content (including your password) of your script. That's completely useless.

@OP
The next time you copy something, at least include the URL to the source (https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/password-protect-folder-windows/).
You don't need to plagiarize useless things like this, risking your account to be banned.

Make use of lengthy/strong and mixed password, than using different password for different account -so if you have 20+ account you use 20+ different password-... Have an easy to getting/remember your password is part of what makes a secured password.
You can call me old school if you want to but I have a hardcover notebook -catalogue- where i save my private keys, password is a very organized manner and kept/treasured away safely. You battling a serious security exposure have password on devices
+Some browsers
+Hackers
+Nosey friend/family
+ Device stolen/formatted/lost

Useless, Don't follow OP tricks

Saving password and personal credentials on a computer which is using online and connected on internet is totally useless. Everything would be revealed if your device become compromised somehow. So I always write my all personal credentials of account on my personal offline note book. This is hard copy and keep with me, I don't use any online device to save such as important things. So I will suggest write your personal credentials on your real life note book and keep it safe place. For security reason you may use multiple note book as well to make sure you are able to recover everything incase lost one of them.

I am sorry. But I didn't plaigarized this because I didn't saw that article that you have sent. I just borrowed this link that I got it from the surface web because I hope it could help other people in this from saving their passwords.
