MAKER VOLUME RANKING METHOD

After aggregating all the maker orders settled during the event, the top 3 traders with the highest number of cumulative contract settlements towards the end point will be placed on the finalists' list.


💡 What is a maker order?

👉 It is a bid order placed by a trader at a certain price that doesn't get matched immediately.



Ex) When a BTC/USDT perpetual contract is placed at 10,000USDT, the condition below satisfies a maker order.



When a short position at 10,000.5USDT doesn't get matched straight away and the remaining volume for 10,000.5USDT gets accumulated in the orderbook.
When a long position at 9999.5USDT doesn't get matched straight away and the remaining volume for 9999.5USDT gets accumulated in the orderbook.


*A maker order is a bid price that gets listed on the orderbook including examples described above.

💡 What is a taker order?

👉 It is a bid order placed by a trader at a certain price that gets matched immediately.

IMPORTANT NOTE

1️⃣ Anyone can participate in the competition without signing up.

2️⃣ When the cumulative maker volume is the same amongst traders, the trader with more taker volume will be considered at a higher priority.

3️⃣ When the cumulative taker volume is the same amongst traders, the trader with more maker volume will be considered at a higher priority.

4️⃣ Contestant winners' taker fee benefit and maker rebate benefit is only applicable for BTC/USDT perpetual contracts.

5️⃣ Contestants that were previously chosen as MCS's honorary testers in receiving 0.045% taker fee benefit will only be receiving the bonus when winning the competition.

6️⃣ MCS will announce real-time ranking on MCS Telegram Account every day at 3AM (UTC).

7️⃣ Recipient announcement is to be made on July 14, 2020, the same day in which both the benefit and the bonus will be distributed.

8️⃣ The bonus rewarded can be used as a form of a margin and will also be used firsthand for trading fees and expense loss.

9️⃣ The profit made from the margin can be withdrawn. However, once the profit is withdrawn from the account, the entire given bonus will be dropped.
