I am selling my crypto project

Hello everyone.
I have been working on a crypto project up to the beginning of 2019. I created a token for the project to help African communities to learn about cryptocurrency and use the token for transactions, but then came an announcement from my country that it is not legal to deal with crypto. So the project has been dormant since early 2019. I have given up. I would like to sell the tokens and the domain for the project. I had listed the token on some exchanges and on coingecko as well but before it started trading then came that announcement so I had to stop any development. how you envisioned the transfer of token contract if you have a private key? can it be safe?

If I understand correctly, this project is to help African communities, but now crypto is not legal in your country. So this project need to help someone there where crypto is banned?
I'm just wondering what exactly is the purpose of this project/token.
