TheUltraElite, the title says what it is - Free. I believe it's as simple as that. However, I am still at a loss as to why you guys are making it look like it's something wrong offering to help others who may have a similar situation of need by all your antagonism. Why so?
This is a dilemma for me... You asked me (and others) not to talk in your thread anymore (i believe you were inferring we were sigspammers), now you ask why people like me keep "bugging" you while you're offering a free service. My gut tells me to answer your question in an honest way, so i'm really sorry if this offends you. I feel your question for an answer supersedes your request not to derail your thread. Sorry if i misjudged this. This is my last post in this thread anyway, so no need for a rant.
So, as a last attempt, i'll answer in this thread one more time, afterwards i'll put you on ignore, so i won't be tempted to reply in your thread ever again.
Personally, i wasn't trying to derail your thread, i wasn't trying to get a rise out of you, i wasn't trying to get you in troubles... I was merely trying to educate you (and other people) as to why rebroadcasting a transaction is not worth your time and effort, and i was trying to push you towards other methods that might have been more usefull... But you scoffed at me telling me "you don't need a lecture" while it was clear to me that you had a gap in your technical knowledge that stopped you from making a usefull service to begin with.
I can guess why others are giving you a hard time tough... Eventough you never clearly stated which methods you were using, it's rather obvious you're just rebroadcasting transactions using thirth party tools. By doing this, you give people false hope and try to bump your postcount and maybe score some tips when people's transactions eventually get confirmed (hint: most transactions will eventually get confirmed.... So taking the credit for this might rub people the wrong way). Things might have been a little different if you were upfront about which tools and techniques you used, and if people with more technical luggage felt the methods you used were at least semi-usefull.
To draw an analogy to a physical service: Your service is like a guy who borrows a hammer from a friend, then opens a free service that tries to fix cars but in the meantime plasters his walls with advertisements and tipjars. When somebody brings a car to your shop, you take the hammer you borrowed and give a few taps on the dashboard. If, by pure luck, the car just happens to start afterwards, you hope to get a tip. If it doesn't start: no worries, it was free anyways and at least your visitors saw your ads. In reality, however, you don't know what you're doing and you rely on pure luck to get the job done. You use (the wrong) tools delivered by somebody else (and you take away part of their income in the meantime). You create a sense of false hope, and try to cash in on this when (by sheer luck) things go your way.
Sorry to be this harsh, but you asked why people don't leave you be... You're part of a community that's pretty straightforward and where people do get called out if they're doing something that might not be okay. If people suspect you're doing something they don't agree with, they ask you follow up questions... And if you don't answer these questions, people start to get annoying. It's possible i'm 100% wrong and you do know what you're doing: in this case, i apologise...
I'll do you one better: proof that you're able to get stuck transactions confirmed without relying on time or sheer luck . If you succeed in getting 95% of the transactions submitted in your thread confirmed within 3 hours, i'll publicly apologise and i'll probably even endorse your service (no guarantees tough)
