Only few know about Avalanche, it's truly a gem because not much marketing is done right now. But Avalanche has many updates planned for Q1, bringing an own DeFi project. No more expensive fees like 50$ USD ETH, for Avalanche, it's below 10 cents.

I agree that most still don't have a clue, but people are starting to catch on, it's up 70% in last 7 days, and up 26% in BTC

When DeFi exchange Pangolin (Uniswap for Avalanche) goes live later in January, it will be visible to everyone what Avalanche has build and how it's outperforming Ethereum. Price of AVAX will explode. Right now, it is impossible to make Uniswap for small transaction because fee is insane. People just stop and don't make any transaction or wait very long to look for cheaper fees.
Avalanche is improving all issues from Ethereum and is easily what ETH 2.0 wants to do in 2 years. Avalanche will crush Ethereum and DOT.

Actually am really looking forward to see that project (Dot, Avax or any other) that will unseat eth, this had been discuss extensively and none has yet to be able to do it,  so this should be done per to per with eth or even as a result of more better features ( the way u see it, any project aspiring to unseat eth should do so in every aspect, not just on cmc rank wise) that is when it will be well justified.
I guess the floor is open for the battle of dethroning the King of alts

FYI if the latest smartcontract platforms already outperform ethereum but it's not just like that dude. The reputation, and various things will be affecting the decision that will be taken by the developers to pick which is the smartcontract platform that will be very suitable for their tokenization.
All of new smartcontract platforms were only improving and they didn't create something unique like ethereum did.

While we wait a year or so for ETH2, AVAX will be a welcome relief to the market once the ETH bridge is deployed in a week or so.

Users will migrate due to the TINY FRACTION of fees

None of the other projects can scale while preserving decentralzation and security ....they solved the tri-lemma. Others only have 2 of the 3.

There is a reason some investment in Avalanche came directly from the ETH genesis address

Some dapps have started migrating from Ethereum blockchain to Avalanche blockchain. Avalanche is an underrated project and I don't know why people of our community do not fancy the project which in my opinion should be a much talked about project here but never is it discussed here. Transaction fees are very very cheap on Avalanche yet people waste tens to hundreds of Dollars for spending on ethereum. Too bad.
