I'm surprised how professionally both ends chatted, the victim, and the hacker. It's funny to think that they're taking this as a serious business for the side of the hackers. This means that this is their livelihood, their bread, and butter.

They even gave a suggestion on how they can strengthen their victim's security. I'm not idolizing them but I'm only interpreting what I've read based from the conversation posted.

We never know what the hacker can do with their skills. But I am sure that they are very high-skills in programming, and they can break the security to penetrates the database to steal our data. We need to be careful to save our data, and make sure that we activate firewalls, antivirus, or else to protect us, although it is not guaranteed for us to get safety. Many companies have been compromised from the hacker, and they need to pay some amount of money to get their data back. There is nothing we can do except be careful when we are online on the internet.

You didn't read the link I posted, did you? :/

the hacker is actually an expert who uses his skills in crime.  for the case of ransomeware it is already familiar.  they use these weapons to ask for a ransom in the form of bitcoin to open access to the computer they hacked.  The key is to frequently update the antivirus and surf well.  Leave suspicious websites so that there are no gaps for them to access your computer.
Yes, that's what these hackers do. They install ransomware and boom, you know what's next.

But just like what's been posted above.

You probably haven't gone through the whole tweet/convo.

Yes, I read it.

Your link is about hacker penetrates to one company and asking about the ransom. That is why I write my reply like that. We need to be careful if we don't want the hacker to break the server. If the hacker asks to get paid in bitcoin, that is what the company needs to pay to them. It is no surprise if the hacker uses bitcoin for the money because the hacker can hide while withdrawing it later. It is a lesson for the owner who always needs to secure his data.
They can't able to penetrate through servers unless you allow them but they will get the authorization via phishing links by sending them to the stupid employees system in your company and that is how most of the high security databases are getting hacked. But once they got it there is no way other than paying the ransom or else your information will be leaked even though after you pay there will be no assurance that you will get the decryption passwords.
