I come to find out that a futures exchange is being bought buy this company in Florida called the Miami International Holdings. Their bid is for the Minneapolis Grain Exchange, one of the cheapest to buy in the U.S. The bid is 110 million for the exchange building, clearing operations, futures contracts and a clear way of adding new futures contracts outside the bitcoin futures offered by the CME group. The last time a futures medallion/ certificate was issued for clearing and trading purposes, it was issued for 80 million dollars. Buying this exchange is an easier way to market.  The interesting thing about this transaction is a company called BCR which paid up for shares in the exchange prior to the buyout. A simple google search of there address shows that BCR is tied to coinbase. Dont know what this means, but The vote for the exchange is this Friday.
