How Far should the Government Go to Protect its People?

It is possible that there are lots of complaints and loses from the retail consumers regarding crypto derivatives.  Authority won't act if there is no harm done or no possible huge financial risk to their citizen since they won't arrive to such reasons if those things never happens.  Before getting too emotional, I think it is best to think rationally.

I think the government banning cryptocurrency derivatives would be better for the market. I mean organic growth and avoid exchange rate manipulation from the sharks. The market cap cryptocurrency is too small to be suitable for adopting derivative tools like derivatives.
Projects take longer to develop and implement than just exchange rates.
Government intervention is essential for everyone to avoid unnecessary risks. It is essential to educate knowledge about cryptocurrencies and how they are needed to protect their assets.

And you're quoting me with that and say this, because? My point stands, bitcoin is not and will not be banned from January 6 either.
If you were trying to refer to the point where I mentioned that the price didn't care that much about this is because it really doesn't matter, derivatives market or not, bitcoin will not be affected at all, and in my opinion, it is better without those. From the start they were pretty damn shady, I can't think of a single argument on how they are good for the environment.

As long as the government will always afraid of the monetary threat of the economy because of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, they will always be protecting their people by banning. Actually, that is not protecting, they care about the revenue of the country just like others could be in tax-evading by hiding their assets through bitcoin and I guess also the links to illicit activities like drug trafficking and money laundering and other cybercrimes that most commonly crypto are prone to this case.

There's no time frame, the government will always protect their people.

Government have the right to protect every Bitcoin retail consumer because it's legalized in the country .Sometimes it look as if the government want to ban bitcoin by creating a safe atmosphere for their citizens who are bitcoin users to get more knowledge about bitcoin and also well educate them in bitcoin.

I think with what the government has experience during the pandemic will make the government  to do everything possible to protect all their retail consumer. During the lockdown many people never feel hardship in their community because they where using bitcoin to sustain their businesses and also helping the government to improve the economy in the society, that make the government to promise that they will do everything to protect all the Bitcoin users not to fall into the hands of the scammers in the country.

I think government should ban all kind of vehicles so no one will lose their life anymore due to the accident.

Government doesn't really care about the people they just care about their own pockets but in democracy they need reasons so they blame something with no reason and expect everyone to believe it.

funny, I ask myself the following:

if everyone stopped using bitcoin because governments forbade it due to people's lack of knowledge for example, how would it be possible that one day everyone would learn about bitcoin? because in my view people learn by practicing and with mistakes they can correct certain things. But if people have no way to practice and make no mistakes how would it be possible to improve using bitcoin?

curiously I never saw governments say that the people don't know how to choose serious leaders, would say that when they stop holding political positions
