It's almost 24 hours and my GOLD token hasn't reflected to my BitForex account. I contacted their customer support on the website for this issue (not those impersonating scammers from Telegram which they're charging around 0.01 BTC for "reactivation"). In their support ticket, I've also sent them my full details plus the Etherscan. They responded that it was a technical issue and passed it over to the technical team to resolve the issue asap.

However, I don't know how they've prioritize my issue as of this moment.
The last time that I've deposited GOLD token to my Bitforex account was on January 2020, and it had no problems whatsoever. I copy pasted the correct receiving address of Bitforex GOLD balance to my MEW account and verifying it many times before sending.

It says that only 12 confirmations are needed for GOLD to reflect to my Bitforex balance. Right now, I think it's over 5,000 now and still zero balance as of today. I sent them a follow-up email right now, but may take up to 24 hours to wait. I also addressed my complaint in their official TG group, however an admin told me that for customer support I should only use their customer support ticket on their website, in which there is no way I can receive a quick response from a legit BitForex employee.

Have you guys also experienced depositing coins or tokens on BitForex that never reflected to your accounts for almost 24 hours? Or even more?

Bitforex have been controversial in the past from faking trading volume to hosting and listing scam IEOs and ICOs. If you look through the scam accusations board, there a quite a number of complaints about them or the IEOs listed in their exchange.

The only thing to do now is hope and wait for the tokens to reflect in your account, but never used that exchange again in the future. Is there any reason you did not use gold.storage's internal marketplace? The trading process using their marketplace is smooth, swift and easy to carry out.

Using the internal Gold Token Marketplace is easier and faster than sending it to Bitforex. I never even use Bitforex because I will need another withdrawal fee when I sell it on Bitforex.
I only use the internal marketplace service so that all withdrawal processes can be done easily without the need for KYC or without the need for account login and such.
It is better for you to immediately contact Bitforex Admin to solve all deposit problems you are experiencing. Admin never do PM first, you need to be careful because there are many scammers who will commit fraud when you need to post in the bitforex group.

I've had a bad experience with that exchange myself. I tried to deposit a few XRP but mistyped the tag. When I started chatting with the support, they ask me to submit KYC again. The exchange has a very confusing GUI from moving the funds going to the exchange wallets to spot and perpetual wallets, it doesn't reflect instantly which is likely the case of yours as well.

I already did contact them again for the third time and still getting the same response.

I don't know if there's a real human being who can respond to my email. If they keep ignoring my problem, I would not hesitate in making a scam accusation against them along with my evidences and proofs.

I recently checked my account and still zero.

But at least they did resolve your XRP deposit after KYC right? I had no deposit problem last January 2020, this is just the first time I have experienced with them. Kinda stressed and frustrated with them right now, and I am disappointed with the way they handled my situation.

BitForex is at the same level as Cointiger imo, both are unreliable and issue like this happens too often. Next time use the internal market instead, so far it is the best exchange for GOLD as mentioned above.

If there's no progress after a week, I think scam accusations and 'spamming' on their social media could help. BitForex is at the same level as Cointiger imo, both are unreliable and issue like this happens too often. Next time use the internal market instead, so far it is the best exchange for GOLD as mentioned above.

Yup this is exactly what I didn’t put in my mind about using their internal marketplace. Will use them next time since I promote them every month on their bounty campaign). Yes I would do that on their social media channels (not Telegram, which they could ban me there) if they cannot resolve this issue. The amount of GOLD token I sent to BitForex exchange was approximately $70, which gonna help me cover my bills for this month.

I’ll give them a week. If no progress, then it’s Scam Accusations and spamming time until they resolve it for me. I had a reason to do that because I did everything correctly, but their exchange is the real problem.

I don’t know if I’m gonna receive a response from a “human” and not a bot in my email complaints. The Telegram admins can’t even help me except advising me to submit a support ticket.

My experience with using Bitforex exchange is not very good at all.
I remember I had to wait a long time for my order to be filled, because most volume there is fake and full of bots trading.
Then I also had issue withdrawing from there, and I had to wait 24 hours for my first withdrawal to be confirmed.
As for GOLD, I would strongly suggest that you use their marketplace, and you can exchange it to Bitcoin or Ethereum directly to your wallet.

The accusation of a scam may be one of the shortcuts you have to take to make Bitforex immediately resolve the deposit problem and you better do it immediately if there is no response from the Telegram admin.
Creating a ticket to support your problem should also be done immediately. Do everything you can to address the problem you are experiencing, I'm sure there will be a response.

As @joniboini said, Bitforex and Cointiger are at the same level regarding Deposit and Withdrawal issues, they are both sluggish and do not have a quick response to the response to the issue.
Update immediately if your problem starts to be resolved.

A week is a bit long already. I'd be frustrated to go to the facebook page to remind them about it as I did when I got some issue with them. This way they will be exposed to the wide audience.  Once you got your funds back, you relaly need to get out of that exchange.

I just checked my email saying that the deposit has finally been credited to my account. I logged in and verified, and yes it's finally there after more than 48 hours of waiting. Thank God I thought they would ignore my emails and totally lost my GOLD tokens.

This is their message:

"Sorry for kept you waiting,

Our technicians are confirming your deposit and this problem will be resolved in a few hours.

Thanks for your understanding and patience.

Best Regards,
BitForex Customer Service Team"


They didn't specify the cause of the technical problem, so there is no transparency.

They may have solved the problem, but oh well at least I have to use the internal marketplace next time when trading GOLD token.

I'm moving it to my Trust wallet instead of trading there because of being disappointed in their platform. Although it cost me approximately $5 in GOLD fees to withdraw, it's alright. It's just a lesson learned for me. And just now, my GOLD tokens successfully got out of the exchange and now in my Trust wallet. I can finally use the internal marketplace.

They may have solved the problem, but oh well at least I have to use the internal marketplace next time when trading GOLD token.
Yeah, they may resolved the issue but it will really take a toll on their behalf of something like this happens over and over again. I used the exchange I think January by this year or was that the past year (I just can't remember selling there my ECOMI tokens) but I haven't get any problems of whatsoever. And, without specifying the issue it gives an open-ended questions from customers if they're still operating healthy.

I think most exchanges won't tell you the exact reason for this and will always refer to technical errors. The same thing happened to me on Bithumb Global and other exchanges, so it is not that surprising. The difference though is the time required to solve the problem. I think most exchanges won't tell you the exact reason for this and will always refer to technical errors. The same thing happened to me on Bithumb Global and other exchanges, so it is not that surprising. The difference though is the time required to solve the problem. It is definitely worth to keep in mind that you should expect at least a few days on tier 2-3 exchanges to solve your problem.
Back in the past where i do have the same problem but it did happen on Kucoin exchange.I can say that their support responds fast but the duration for the issue to get resolved do really last up 2-3 at least.

I dont see this to be on tier 1 or tier 2 exchange.There are really times which you dont have any options to make use of these exchange if you do have some coin which are only traded on a certain platform.
You wont have any choice but to deal with the possible problem that you would be facing on.



@OP, good thing that you had get your GOLD tokens and it seems you had learned up your lesson.If there are internal marketplace for GOLD then it would be a better option
rather than touching this platform again.To avoid future headaches then you do already know on what must do.

Okay I understand, but they need to improve their customer service by having a quick customer support chat box option like what Bancor is doing rather than tickets that will take up to 24 hours to reply. I sent them two tickets, but all I got was the same bot response until they've let me know that the technical issue was resolved and deposit was reflected.

I know that they have so many queries, but the chat box option for customer support is something that they should implement.

Now that my GOLD tokens are back and safe in my Trust Wallet, so yeah I can use GOLD's internal marketplace. Haven't used them to be honest because I had no problems with BitForex deposits and withdrawals back then.

As your problem already resolve, you can close your thread. In this case, you got an important lesson not to use the outside exchanges, and better to use the internal exchange if available. I don't know about BitForex more than you, but I got something from your story, and I don't want to use that exchange, thanks to you. It will not be a problem if they ask $5 as the fee to withdraw, as long as you can withdraw the Gold token.

One of the factor that I left bitforex is that the customer support of this exchange is not active as what others have. When I have problem dealing to my tokens, I did not get any letter or reply to them. I also heard some news that bitforex was a scam exchange and most of the tokens here are not valuable enough. They have poor liquidation and P&D group. I don`t want to destroy their image as a one of the top and well-known crypto exchange but I think they won`t deserve even applause because of bad services. Thank God you already solved your problem OP.

I just checked my email saying that the deposit has finally been credited to my account. I logged in and verified, and yes it's finally there after more than 48 hours of waiting. Thank God I thought they would ignore my emails and totally lost my GOLD tokens.

This is their message:

"Sorry for kept you waiting,

Our technicians are confirming your deposit and this problem will be resolved in a few hours.

They didn't specify the cause of the technical problem, so there is no transparency.

They may have solved the problem, but oh well at least I have to use the internal marketplace next time when trading GOLD token.

I believe that they have resolved this deposit issue that you have experienced with them. For exchanges that failed to deliver technical help for their users won't actually disclose any reason for it. They'll make you feel comfortable that nothing is seriously happening and they are handling the report or issue that you have reported to them.
Any updates if they've fixed the issue?
