Deep-dish pizza?

I never considered it pizza. It's a wonderful pie, a unique creation native to Chicago and something that is very hard to acquire elsewhere--at least, good Chicago deep dish is.

Well pies are not really native to Chicago. I can't think of a modern country without a pie culture

I never really understood why they call pizza 'pie'. No body ever says pizza pie over here.

I like Slavonian pizza the most, great pizza indeed
