Hey, does anyone invests via P2P platforms in loans or properties. I read there are very high returns and I am curious to give it a try. Anyone with exeprience here? Can anyone recommend where to start?

The platform you will be putting your money on is the most important.

I don't invest in p2p loans but I'm always interested in reading the experiences of people on it. The platform you choose is like the escrow/middleman that shall be responsible for choosing the borrower. And it's on their part to verify the borrowers. Do research if there's an existing local p2p loan platform in your country.

If you have a bigger budget, invest in real estate/properties.

We should carefully monitor each site before investing this is a good way to protect your money i did not invest in P2P but look at the asset value per share before investing there should be a correlation with the market price if there is no extinction the value of the assets does not matter to the investor. Too bank loans and other debts are repaid before the sale price of the assets the amount of capital must be reduced the more it is the better if there is more there is an opportunity to pay more dividend the lower the transaction capacity the lower the dividend potential.

Sure the p2p platforms to invest or to give loans have really attractive interests but they are also very dangerous,have high risks personally i stay away from them and use the centralized platforms to make my investments such as the exchanges of binance and poloniex that give interest perhaps lower but are absolutely safe

Maybe you can tell us what P2P platforms you mention, so we can check it by visiting the website. I don't invest in those platforms because I don't have much information or data to select which platforms. But I don't think that the returns will be high as you say because if the return is high, you really need to be careful. After all, that will be too good to be true.

For legit platforms, the returns wouldn't be that much but you still going to have gained from it.

That is what I think. The legit platforms will think twice to give that big return because they also want to profit. He will forget about this thread and as you said, he might not come back to this thread to explain more details. As long as the additional sources of income are legit, that will not be a problem. That is why we always need to be careful to select those ways.

What sort of returns are you expecting? In my experience, you would be looking at a return of around 5% annually with quite a bit or risk. When I was giving p2p loans rates were much higher as well. At a glance it might look like you can get much higher returns, but that is with investing in riskier loans, and if you do that you WILL have defaults which can significantly eat into your returns. Especially if you aren’t well diversified and good at judging payback potential.

I think www.prosper.com is a trustworthy place to start with p2p loans.

But the matter is, no platform will give big profit because that's the usual business model of most platforms and p2p loans. Even the banks wouldn't give such guarantee of huge profit and interest.

They want to get more money, so they don't have to give more money to their customers. It is normal to see those things because, in another market, that is happening like that. What you said about the banks is right, they will not give more return to their customer, but they get their customer's money to be used for their own purposes.

I have been recommended to look into MINTOS. It is a sort of a marketplace with over 80 different companies selling loans, not just one chosen by this company, but many with thousands of loans. So it is seems it possible to diversify the portfolio very well, so it could be maybe safe?
