Bitcoin Movie

I have seen quite a handful of movies that have mentioned crypto or bitcoin but I have not really seen one which plot revolves around bitcoin or crypto specifically. I thought it would be a good idea to have a movie depicting how bitcoin was created and how it affects the world today.

Just like The Social Network which is a film that showed the creation of Facebook and the challenges the creator faced in managing it. It was exciting and really put into perspective how Facebook changed the scene.

Do you know any movies like the one mentioned? And I don’t want a boring documentary, I want something entertaining that could also be shared to people who aren’t yet into bitcoin.

Actually there were lot of movies and series where Bitcoin is mentioned in one or the other way. For example in Deadpool the logo was mentioned and in a movie called vacation friends there's a shitcoin made ton of profit and for the series Money heist, Mr.Robot and many others mentioned about bitcoin.

Making a movie or series about Bitcoin is a good idea. But honestly movies or series are made for those things which have little promotion. I think Bitcoin is not so well known that it needs to be made into a movie.

I might disagree there , mate. Bitcoin is definitely being more popular even with the general masses as we speak but even if it wasn’t as mainstream as other concepts I still think it would be a great idea to make a movie of bitcoin. It will certainly allow for more promotion.

Movies and series are dropping bitcoin like easter eggs for you to find. The mention of bitcoin might imprint it onto the audience’s minds which will give more exposure to bitcoin.

I think you misread his post.  I think he is saying Bitcoin is well known, so it does not need a movie to promote it.

It would be interesting for me to dedicate the film entirely to Bitcoin; I have never personally heard of such a thing.

You have a point but I still think it would be interesting for us bitcoin enthusiasts and I am sure that many movie makers would be interested in making a movie that could potentially do very well and bring in some profits
