Selling an asset when the price starts to fall?
it was the wrong choice. When the price reaches $ 19k you should be able to sell some of the Bitcoin assets and not the other way around.
But when the price drops to $ 16 as it is today you need to take into account how much you want to buy again. Better to hold than sell if you buy around $ 19k.

We also don't know when the new ATH will be achieved, but hopefully this year it can be achieved and we will party.

Haven't this past few days thought you something! you can at least take 2017 as a case study, you know what happened after btc famous ATH, people bought at 20k and some of them did not lose hope and continue holding, recently btc was as high as 19k+ which to me was a good price for those who held for so long to sell and buy back below,
the point is, this is a correction after the price pump, selling now won't make any sense unless you are sure it will dip even lower to buy back, otherwise just hold and relax.

If I have the plan to sell, I've just sold at the top when it was $19k and won't be asking anyone if I have to continue and sell all that I've got. But that's not the case, I have longer plans and that's the reason why I'm holding.

As for you, what's your next game plan? if from the beginning you have already planned to sell it, you have to sell during the peaks and not everything the market is bleeding. That's an opposite strategy if you're starting to worry whenever you see drops of blood on the streets.

It is an opportunity missed, hold it for a while. There is more possible chance for the price to grow high towards a new ath value. If there is no big change in the market for a while, the better choice is to sell the bitcoin. After a bullish market, the market used to crash. Right now it looks like a crash, but experts predicted it to be a price correction. Hope for the best and make your own decision as the market isn't cent percent effective as stated by experts.

Selling at peak point and perk assets in USDT or in stablecoins are safe in cryptocurrency. Those who invested in $10k-$16k, already maximum sold out and few are holding like me because i have small amount. There is no impact on pump and dump for such amount. But Bitcoin is such a coin that can reback and touch ATH in a week.

This is just huge fluctuation of market so again it will going to moon. Those are hold for long term they still hold the BTC and day traders already stay in USDT so once it will start to pump again all are pick the BTC. Myself I am not hold all the eggs in single bucket so recently I plan to hold BTC, XRP and USDT this is enough to maintain my investment. May be again ATH will start in the market I plan to move on any other platform.

Buying more is a great idea if you have funds except for the one you HODL. Of course what I meant for buying are those promising coins like ETH, XRP, AND BITCOIN since the market is all bloody red now. But if you don't have the funds to do so, it's much better if you'll patiently HODL your coins and wait until the market gets bully again.

Because if you'll panic and sell your coins to buy the coins that remains unshakeable, you'll only lose more profits than you could ever imagine. Sit down, sip your coffee, and wait for your profit while watching the market movements.

I suggest you take a look at the past and see how people deal with pump or dump. We're literally hanging around $3k just a few months ago and just recently we break $14k pretty easily. Don't you think some people would sell to take profits? So there's nothing wrong with it, it's just how the market works.

If you're day trading then follow your rule, if you plan to invest in the long-term then stick with the fundamentals. Do DCA and don't get distracted by the price. Learn from the past mistakes of people who sold Bitcoin at $1 or $14.

Smart investors are just going to shrug this dip and do nothing but to HOLD. And you forgot to include one more options, that is to buy in this market correction.

And it's no rocket science really, if you sell today, you might take a loss, or even if you have profited, it is far from the huge amount you gonna make if bitcoin goes on another bull run. Of course, you will ask, maybe we are in a reversal trend, bearish cycle, but remember the bitcoin was once price at $3k in March during the pandemic and then rise dramatically. So it doesn't make sense to sell all your assets today. Just keep HODL and be calm, no need to panic.

What's your plan? maybe first you need to know if you will go for long term or short term, but if you are for short term, I think selling now is a good idea because bitcoin might fall more, sorry for being bearish but that's what I observe when big pump happened then long correction will come after.

The strategy would have told the trader to sell off yesterday and have big profit of about $2,000 per btc. That is hodling is not the best way to have profit in the market. Right now I still think that bitcoin will continue dropping and may go to around $14,000 in the weekend.

What have I did if sell right now I loss much and waiting for bitcoin and etehreum back to higher price is best option, I think for ethereum will upgrade to 2.0 on early December and Bitcoin will get good news again tomorrow or next tomorrow, still loyal for holding eth and bitcoin right now because both potential coin and most disappointed after selling later because have chance back to higher price again, maybe I will wait few days for getting back with ethereum I bough on 600$ and now back lower price again to $500, maybe I loss more if wanna try to CL because minus more than 20% from my assets.

There are many answers to your questions, so here is my suggestion to your question. If you are not a trader and you are just a normal investors who put his money to bitcoin in hoping to get some profits in the long run then holding is your best option.

But if you are trader and you already earn some profits from the past increase of bitcoin price then it is the right time to cut your losses and sell your assets then wait for the right time to buy again. As this dips will surely to go down for sure and once you can hit the bottom of the dips then you can surely profit a  good amount of money once the bitcoin price will start to rally again upward.

Decide for your investment. If you can afford seeing how this market is falling, then choose to hold. But if you are into short term holding, you are free to sell because no one knows how low will the market price be or if there will still be a chance for this market to recover. In my case, I'd hold my remaining investments because I am not needing money from my investments at this moment, and it would be fine even if the price would be lower, and I will probably invest more in such case. That's simply how this market behaves and if you will panic, the result will just be permanent loss.

We're in a powerful bull market. Selling coins can easily result in losing coins. Therefore my preference is to stay 100% in coins (never selling anything on the spot market) and then to trade around leveraged long positions. That way I can take profit off my longs without any risk of losing coins.
