There used to be a time when people made decent profit out of the spreads but it is not hard to notice that arbitrage is less becoming interesting and popular these days. It must have become a lot harder a way to make money. So if you are really "trying to find out genuine ways to earn," I don't think arbitrage is the way to go. You are better off learning basic trading.

If you are looking for long term crypto investments, you are always in good hands with Bitcoin. But you have to realize that we are already currently approaching a new ATH. You may decide to invest right now but you also need to brace yourself for a possible deep retracement sooner. However, you can almost be sure of another round of Bitcoin bull run in the months to come.

Also, I am looking for long term investments like I wish I had invested 100$ in bitcoin in 2010, anyone believes such opportunities still exist?

Bitcoin made insane profits since the beginnings. If you really want to go for such high rewards, you need to go into Alt coins, but there risk there is very high too. There is a good chance you will lose money. If you do want to be long term involved with crypto currencies I would advise you to go for Bitcoins. They might be very high at the moment, but there are already experts saying that prices of above 100,000 USD are possible for 2021. Buying to hold is a better approach than abitrage bots for beginners in my opinion.

I was reading reviews about the top exchanges and every exchange has horror stories on google across various review websites.

It is really confusing for a beginner.

Which exchanges are genuinely best in terms of:-

1) Ease of use.
2) No issues in deposits and withdrawals for verified accounts. I have read horror stories when it comes to withdrawal with top exchanges for verified customers. Why?
3) Fast transactions.
4) Safety of crypto, funds and accounts. I have read horror stories about sudden closure of verified accounts.
5) Fees - It is least important among the above but does any exchange have all the above and reasonable fees as well.

1- This is up to you. All of them have their differences and you will have to decide which one is fit for you.
2- If your account is verified with the right and authentic paperwork and your activity has "logic" or is not shady by any means, then you are good to go. But you need to know that is in exchange curtesy if want to ban you or not and if they do, they "can" find a reason/ excuse to do it.
3- Some delays can occur to any of them but all are fast enough. At least the top-5 and for major/ big coins and tokens.
4- There is no safety regarding your funds in any exchange. Why? Because you don't own the keys, it's not your wallet. Anything can happen, you can just navigate around here and you will read a lot.
5- Besides Coinbase Pro/Coinbase all the others (at least as far as I know) have the same fees, at least for BTC. For alts and tokens fees varies.

Bitcoin is the top most recommendation if you're talking about profit potentials with guarantee in the long run, although there are a ton of shitcoins that pumps and dumps all the time.

I love the idea of Arbitraging and i understand that there is some profit potentials in it, at some point I was so interested in fiat arbitration but then it came with a lot of risk especially for the part of the world that i came from.
