For me gambling is still an entertainment, even though it can be painful sometimes. I lost this all my previous winnings in slot and are also on a down swing in poker. It's a bit depressing to lose in a few weeks the things that took you weeks to  earn before. But so is life too, good days will come again. And if I would have spent the same time going out I spent gambling, I probably would have spent even more money. Unfortunately we can't be always winning.

You should know those negative, it's not good for you, before we gamble, we should also know the risk, the worst scenario that could happen to us if we got careless and allow our emotion to come into play, usually we get addicted if we are weak.

Well, what we should be reminded of is, there are two sides to a gambling business, the gambler and the bookmakers. To the bookmarkers, you might consider gambling to be a very serious investment or business while to the gambler, it's big time a game of luck and no one would really take a game of luck too seriously. This is what makes it an entertainment. You don't put all hopes that it must favour you or play out the way you've visualized it! No, that's not how it works.

Yeah, it is what you think but others may have other opinions. Others think gambling isn't a really serious game because it cannot make you rich. Instead, it just leads you to losses. That's why some gamblers limit their funds in gambling, they just enjoy the games and suddenly stop to play once their funds are over.
