Most of the people are thinking that it’s a good idea to invest on XRP right now because it's priced below $1, much lower than its all time high $3.84. If Ripple wins the ongoing SEC lawsuit, XRP's price might go up a lot.

I have heard that Ripple has a much better chance of winning the lawsuit against SEC. So, SEC is delaying it till they can. Buying Ripple in speculation of a win could be a good idea for short term traders. It has missed most of crypto bull due to controversies. They are now more than half lower than their all time high. If all went right for them, they could x2 really soon after the verdict. I don't see Ripple making huge gains but considering the consistent effort from the team, they are going to outlive many popular altcoins.

It's a pure speculation. If SEC plays fair, the chance of Ripple Labs winning the ongoing lawsuit is higher. So people can definitely speculate on that to make profit.

But Ripple is a centralised cryptocurrency. A lot of people do not like Centralised coins. If that doesn't bother you, I think it is a good call to buy Ripple now and wait for the verdict. But Ripple is not really super volatile like other altcoins.
