I am just curious if what this member is doing is allowed https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2901432;sa=showPosts

He is using hyperlink images in all of his posts and I can also assume that this is the reason why he does that.
.....
Actually he is posting that image in every his post. The reason why he posting that image instead of wearing it on his signature because he is still newbie (even though he bought copper membership) can't wear same signature like Hero/Legendary

Can this be considered as thread hijacking?
....
Also why do you used that image when posting here? that is not Signature, someone could thinking that you try to "hijacking other thread"

It may not be ethical but it's a clever workaround. Is this allowed? What's the applicable rule if not/

No. It's not allowed[1].

It's not a clever workaround. It's just the user asking to be banned. Signature restrictions are there for a reason and attempting to circumvent said rules obviously would warrant a ban.

24. Advertisements (including signatures within the post area) in posts aren't allowed unless the post is in a thread you started and is really substantial and useful.[9][e]

I've reported plenty of them and they've all been banned so far.

AFAICT, this person is engaging in legitimate discussion in the threads he is posting in. Assuming there is not evidence this person has a history of these kinds of infractions, I don't think a ban would be appropriate. I would not want to remove someone from our community for a first time offense of this person breaking a rule that he may not be aware of.

I have sent this person a PM notifying him about the rules regarding having ads in posts, and that if he wishes, he can have ads in his signature.

In any case, it would be appropriate for the mods to remove the advertisement from this person's posts.

Too bad for him. He bought a copper membership to advertise his site using images instead of his own signature space.

Thanks ranochigo. It's all clear.

I did the same.
