Dear All,

I am totally new to cryptocurrencies and this forum and am learning. I want to set up a small mining setup at my home for learning and experimental purposes.. obviously, the earning would be a by-product. Considering im a beginner, I have no know-how of setting up a mining setup or properly utilizing it. I need some help (obviously, I am ready to pay for it) so that I can learn more about crypto and mining. Anyone that is ready to help in return for a payment (to be decided in a detailed chat) kindly let me know!

Thank you

Regards

Not sure if you a step by step walk through the whole mini mining farm setup but the mining board has so many members writing about their mining farm set ups like this one - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5263722.0

Maybe you can read through and get some knowledge.

If you have any challenges or questions, you can contact any of the active members there or just post your query in mining support

^ Was suppose to direct him to go into that board which would be the best way on starting up when it comes to mining.
When it comes to mining then things will vary neither you would decide to mine Bitcoin solely or would consider other altcoins as well.
Aside on suggestion board above then he can try to check out these YT vids for some brief discussions about setting up.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lAW5fqkL-Fo
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0OreuQjbsyM

this do targets out bitcoin mining and creating a rig for alt mining.

I need some help (obviously, I am ready to pay for it)

Some advises:
  • Start new thread(s) in Mining or Mining (Altcoins)
  • Instead of a generic "help me and I'll pay" ask exactly what you don't know / don't understand, maybe search a little too. More people may have more answers here, publicly, than somebody helping or not in private.
  • Keep in mind that for Bitcoin mining you need devices called ASIC (bitcoin) miners, which are pretty much expensive if you do hobby mining. So if you want to mine with GPU (or CPU) you'll mine altcoins, which you may or may not use to buy Bitcoin (depends if they're listed to exchanges). Keep this in mind when you pick the section where you ask your questions Wink

Instead of mining with your hardware, I would suggest you to go with stacking. Stacking is the future. To update yourself with the recent ETH 2.0's phase 0 launch, you can try your hands on testnet stacking where you won't need real crypto assets but learn everything you need. Otherwise, as suggested by senior members, go with the tutorials and ask for help in Mining board.

Welcome abroad!

You failed to give any information about your mining setup, there are different settings for different algorithms, if you are using CPU or GPU you don't have to manually set up miners, just download Nicehash software or Miner gate software, they automatically do all the settings and configurations for you, the only thing you need to fill is your wallet address
