I lose trust in projects that just rename themselves. Raiblocks was fine and a great brand
that was associated with free instant transfers and distributing coins to the community for free.
Now its NANO, while nano does sound cooler at first, it really also sounds boring and I dont
associate the same qualities as before with it.
Projects should never just rename. I know for example ETHLEND (now Aave) did it too,
and in their case it worked. (For me especially since I got alot of Ethlend cheap a long
time ago)
But I think in Aaves case its also they did basically re-do their whole project and made it
better while Nano seems kind of have changed in a less positive way.
I am more excited for Banano (
https://banano.cc/ ) which is a fork of Nano.
But another issue is use-case. Nobody really seems to need a coin that can just do
transfers. No matter if they are free or fast. There need to be somethign more and
Banano at least got the cool/fun branding and Meme-stuff.
But yeah even for Banano you could ask: Whats the use-case? Why would a million
or ten million people ever use Banano daily? Like ETH had this gimmick of ICOs and
tokens and of course still does, and Uniswap and all that..
What does Nano or Banano have?
