Have you tried installing metmask and try to import your wallet there using your seed?
Or try this one, log into myetherwallet.com using your seed. If any of this is successful, get your privatekey and use it to import on your phone MEW.
Note: to find your private key in myetherwallet, try print and it will display.
I think he will find used addresses in his seed by using MetaMask. With myetherwallet, you havn't access to all addresses, once you generate a new one you can't see back the old used addresses.
Iancoleman remains to be the best solution but this is not for everybody as it requires the minimum of technical knowledge.
As I mentioned in a previous post, I have downloaded the offline version and have started playing around with it. I have entered my 24 words into the BIP39 Mnemonic box and it generated a BIP39 Seed and and BIP39 Root Key for ETH Coin. Under Derivation Path the BIP44 tab is highlighted and it has various info populated there. Down further on the screen are Derived Addresses. They are listed out by Path, Address, Public Key, and Private Key.
My question is, since I know what the Public Key is for my ether wallet, can I scroll down through the public addresses listed to see if I can find my know public address, then look next to it for the corresponding private key address? I have already scrolled through about 500 public key derived address but still haven't found mine. I'm assuming that there could be thousands that I might need to search. Any suggestions as to whether I'm doing this correctly or should be doing something differently?
