Ive been sent a refund from a website and the transaction has been stuck on unconfirmed for a while. Is there anything I can do to get it to confirmed faster?

The transaction fees spiked significantly in the past few hours; that's why that transaction is still not confirmed. You can use CPFP to get your transaction confirmed faster. Here you can find good step-by-step instructions for Electrum. You might be able to do it easily by right-clicking on the transaction in the "History" tab and selecting "Child pays for parent" option.

Can you check your transaction(TXID) on any block explorer and check the fee.

If the fee is above 0.0001BTC or 10k sat you can use the free service from ViaBTC to speed up your transaction.

You can submit it here https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator

But if your transaction is below 10k sat you aren't able to use their free service instead, follow the Rath_ suggested above.

And be mindful of the fact that ViaBTC still measure in the "old school"... so if the fee you have used is 10 sats/vbyte... it will not be calculated by them as 10 sats/byte if you're using SegWit! Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

You meant 0.0001BTC/KB (10 sat/byte)
No, 10k sat or 0.0001BTC I don't know why they explain it into 10k sat per byte but for me every time I use them to speed up my transaction if you pay below 10k sat it will show you a warning.

So you need to submit a transaction with the exact 10k sat or above it won't go through if the fee is below the 10k sat.

ETFbitcoin is right.
I just picked a random transaction and tried to accelerate it using ViaBTC.
The fee rate was 24 sat/byte and the total fee was 5424 satoshi.

The transaction was accepted by ViaBTC.
