Crypto Trading using my Forex Broker

OK I am curious....
I usually trade currency pairs, and lately I think I should go into crypto trading...
And I found out my broker allows me to trade BTC/USD.... tho the spreads are always discouraging, as high as 1000pips (I usually trade more liquid pairs with just 3 - 15 pips).
I found out I can't blow a $450 if am using a 500 leverage account.... It will be almost the same as buying Bitcoin worth the said amount.... Is that how you trade ?? or is there an app for it??
