Five graphics cards are detected by lspci | grep VGA:

lspci | grep VGA
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GM107 [GeForce GTX 750] (rev a2)
02:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Baffin [Radeon RX 550 640SP / RX 560/560X] (rev cf)
05:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Vega 10 XL/XT [Radeon RX Vega 56/64] (rev c3)
06:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Ellesmere [Radeon RX 470/480/570/570X/580/580X/590] (rev ef)
07:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Ellesmere [Radeon RX 470/480/570/570X/580/580X/590] (rev ef)

However, only three are actually mining on TeamRedMiner:

The GTX 750 obviously won't mine as it is an Nvidia card, but why is the RX Vega 56 not mining?

Any thoughts would be appreciated

(Ubuntu Budgie 20.04.1, TeamRedMiner v0.8.0-linux, amdgpu-pro-20.45-1188099-ubuntu-20.04, running on an old ASRock H81 Pro BTC motherboard)

GTX750 obviously won't mine because it's an nvidia card? Really? Who told you that Nvidia cards can't mine Ethash Algorithm? Lol, the reason why GTX750 won't mine is because it's outdated, I bet the video memory is just 2gb vram, Ethash DAG file is already over 4gb right now so even graphic card with 4gb won't work well anymore

I'm not familiar with teamredminer though so I can't say much here, I will just like to ask you if that's the lastest teamredminer ? If not I suggest you try to use the latest update version, also remove the obsolete GTX750, try out other miners, since you are running on Linux you should give HiveOS a try, there are simple others like Nicehash too

Update

I can see a RX550 in the list of your GPUs, isn't that a 2gb graphic card too? Remove such cards with anything less than 4gb vram pls

You are wasting electricity if you are mining with gtx750 or other cards with 2gb video memory, remove them and leave the AMD cards in your motherboard, go into AMD drivers settings and activate compute mode, this should increase your hashrate, also what version of driver are you using? If the compute mode don't solve the problem I recommend using a different mining software

Dudes what is your problem with his gtx750, he will not mine with this card. And he said it is a nvidia card, because teamredminer is AMD ONLY.

You can use google? RX550 with 4Gb and 2GB  Roll Eyes If you have not much knowledge, why you answer?

@Flooze

can you give us your commandline parameters? What driver you are using?

There is RX550 with 4gb memory, it's possible that you don't know because the gpu is a low end graphic card, here is a picture of RX550 4gb edition

@Flooze just know that you will be getting lower hashrate if you are mining with a 4gb video card, about the RX Vega not mining at all I think it's best if you troubleshoot the card only by removing other cars from the motherboard and leaving the Vega 56 only in there, go to AMD settings and find compute mode in there, active and retry

@sxemini we are all here to share knowledge, nobody is perfect when it comes to knowledge and ideas, it's normal not to know that few GPUs have 4gb vram memory size and that RX550 is a low end AMD gpu, if one asked me I'd say it's 2gb gddr5 gpu because it's low end built

Hi sxemini, if I knew there was a 4gb RX550 I wouldn't have make such post but this is just a mistake that anyone can make, it has nothing to do with having so much knowledge or not, moreover mining with RX550 is not profitable so I still have a point here

It could be that the motherboard bios is outdated, OP should remove every other GPUs from the motherboard and leave the Vega only to see if it will bring better hashrate, also changing slots can help, PCIe 2.0 and other can be changed in bios settings too
