Topics about Stablecoins and topics with titles alert/warning/fake this and that

Aren't they the kind of topics that should be in the altcoins boards?

They may be "stable", who cares, they are still altcoins. Personally, I'm not interested in reading shitcoin topics on the Bitcoin board. Otherwise, I'll turn on and visit the altcoins boards.

This section is supposed to be for newcomers, or basic help/question and other stuff. But a lot of the topics seem to be topics that would have a better place in the scam section.

I don't see how this kind of topics help people. Oh please, don't tell me it helps people to not be scammed. Otherwise, we could fill the place with HYIPs.

Couldn't agree more. No one is being saved by these topics, and for every topic created there are 100 other malicious sites, phishing emails, homograph attacks, malware, fake apps, and so on that could be posted about. One stickied topic with the title "Verify your downloads and don't click on random links." would achieve more than all these threads.

These threads belong in Scam Accusations if anywhere, although I would suggest that a new thread for every single phishing attempt is completely pointless. They would also potentially fit in to the general Security/Privacy board I have proposed several times, but unfortunately, that never seems to go anywhere.

As it is, Beginners & Help is treated as a sort of "Bitcoin Off Topic" for any thread that doesn't really fit anywhere else (partly since the actual Off Topic board is a cesspool of spam), as opposed to being a board for newbies to ask questions in.

Moved all 5 to the appropriate boards. If you find similar threads, simply report them using the "Report to Moderator" feature. Neither the phishing warning threads, nor threads about stablecoins belong in Beginners & Help - not particularly sure as to why users keep posting them there. As OP pointed out, phishing warning threads belong in the Scam Accusations board while threads about stablecoins or any other altcoin belong in the altcoin sections.

People keep posting them because in this section users give Merits too easily. Posters don't need to do a lot. Just copy-pasting a text with a link or merge 2-3 texts, and voila. You can easily rank up.

No, it doesn't really help newbies, that's not the truth. It's what you think or what you want people to believe. It helps only the users looking to spam the board to increase their posts count.

Yep, that's probably why.  Who's the main merit source in the B&H section?  Is it Jet Cash?

I don't think those warnings are a bad thing at all, and I found the one on fake Google Play apps pretty interesting--but if it was in B&H to begin with, it was definitely in the wrong section. 

As far as stablecoin threads go, I think they ought to all be in the altcoin section--that seems like it should be obvious.  Any crypto that isn't bitcoin is an altcoin as far as I know.

This is the only effective way, members should be taught to use proper boards for everything that has to do with altcoins. In addition to those who only shilling some project, there are those who know very well that posting in Altcoins boards will not be profitable for them (most signatures do not pay posting there), and then post in other boards. In addition to the B&H board, I see a lot of altcoins content in Economy -> Trading Discussion.

Who's the main merit source in the B&H section?  Is it Jet Cash?

Certainly not Jet Cash, his activity in terms of merits has been very low lately - I think DdmrDdmr is one of the most active merit source in that board.

Altcoin threads are clearly not B&H topics, although some that query both about bitcoins and altcoins on the same thread are in no man’s land (does not apply to the cases in the OP).

Warnings about hacks, phishing attempts and such do have their own sub board, therefore being technically more fitting in Scam Accusations, but from a beginner’s perspective, that board is likely not one that they will likely visit, which means that they’ll skip these warnings for the most. The counter part is that there are periods of time when B&H depresses the hell out of the reader, and gives newcomers the impression that crypto is all about scams and phishing, overclocking the impression one should get by excessive exposure.

Anyhow, report to moderator is always a quick method to move things to their technical proper place, so any discomforts can be easily solved in that manner.
