Polkadot solve many problem on ethereum chain such as gas fees and with its parachain we can bridge multi chain on it, many developer waiting this kind of project, and it is more secure to build DeFi on it. I eealy trust this polkadot project with parity behind it.

And i predict that will be more project build on this network in the future.

What you said is right, It is not an easy thing to get into the top rank because company members should work a lot, even the ecosystem is kept developing and it helps many other new platforms are launching under this block chain. DeFi has already been the driving force in the cryptocurrency market since last year but the crypto scammer will also use it as a venue to steal from investors and that's the pitfall people are advised to watch out for.

Polkadot haven't bypassed ripple marketcap yet. Yesterday DOT reached at 5th place by overtaking ltc marketcap and stayed there for a while. Currently DOT at 6th position in crypto market. But be sure, xrp will loss it position very soon. Finally DOT will compete with other top altcoins, after Ethereum and usdt.

Previously many people on this forum talked about and compared Polkadot to Ethereum and I don't agree with that. But to this day Polkadot has really made good progress in my opinion. They also seem to have found support from Binance.

Of course this can make the market better and it is interesting to see the tough competition in the top position after Bitcoin.

I know Polkadot disnt bypassed XRP, I asked the question to be sure what Spaffin was expressing and if DOT claims the fifth and lost it afterward it means it cant overtake LTC traffic.
Concern XRP, we cant be sure if the coin will lose it position because the project team are good at market manipulation but I read that some exchange site will delist the coin if the suit is not settled before the mid of this month.
Lets wait and see what will happen.

Polkadot becomes much popular than others crypto project. Crypto users gives much attention on this project. I do not know much more about this project but after the hype of crypto bitcoin and others altcoin breaks it all time high price records i saw lots people also added their portfolio list polkadot with bitcoin and others alts. That is why i think i have to do little bit more deep research about this project. Though i already started doing my research about this project and my first impression on coinmarketcap i become surprise to see this in top 6 rank. Then i decide to more deep research about this project. So right now i am working on it.

That's quite true, the current bull run threw a lot of light towards many projects that we see them charging higher and aiming for the top 5, top 10 etc, however that would likely be a tough competition between LTC and DOT as both are trying their best, but it is also good to take note of the good features of DOT and unrelenting efforts of the Polkadot team. However, i think it is good that these coins challenges each other for that top 5 or even top 10 so that, the team will know that there is always work to do and the only way to remain on top is by offering something worthwhile, something workable and some attractive to a lot of people.
The crypto space is now getting tough and it's obvious it is now time for project team to put in their best or watch others overtake them and push them down.

yesterday I saw the price of 10$ DOT. and it looks like it's an all-time high. if asked if this project is good, i think this project is very good. Polkadot is worth investing in, because their platform will be a Dapp alternative. if people start moving away from the ethereum network, Polkadot might be their top choice.

true, at the beginning of last December the price was around 4-5 $ now it is at 10 $ that means the bull run made a rise in some altcoins, although not directly because not all coins went up at the same time as btc when it went up.

Dont Just believe in what the Jump does but how it happens? do really Investors Believe in this one? or just their Hyping power that Made this Pump so an attract and lure real investors ?
and what will happen after ?they will Dump the coin and real investors will remain trapped ?

I totally agree with you, Polkadot is doing very well, honestly looking at CMC at this moment, DOT is really a good choice that i think will bring high profits, i believe that 2021 DOT will continue to be successful. This bullrun has given us a lot of surprises. since Ripple went into trouble with the SEC there have been many changes in the market. And the newest is Polkadot, Look at today's DOT chart, I smiled a little. this coin is rising high and performing well throughout this bull run. I think Polkadot is on the right track now, even though their platform still can't compete with ethereum. but seeing their growth I became interested in this project.

currently DOT is competing with LTC, and BCH for the 4th position as the coin with the largest market cap. if Polkadot is still like this, I'm sure they can grab the position later.

as i see now, the rank of DOT down to 8th position and competing with cardano
but, in my opinion is become a good alternative for ethereum, with all the features inside this project mate

It has finally surpass XRP, DOT has a very good run in the last 3 months from over $4 now already trading at $17.

The kind of success though, even successful than other coins and I think this coin as long as it keeps its development, stay listed in good exchanges, it has a great future and maybe catching them while still early is the best thing to do.
