hello, i am amazed that kraken has still had these problems since 2017. Kraken always has problems when I or a friend want to use it, it's unbelievable.

At the moment I just can't log in anymore, it always says: "Invalid username or password"
although both are true!
I have had the new username sent to me, I have changed the password several times but I cannot log in with the new one either.
the support rarely writes back, my mother, who also doesn't work, has been waiting for an answer for over a week.

What can you do? it is unbelievable how badly the kraken homepage works, really a shame!
what can I do?

I don't think their support team are still active here, you'd have to try other platforms as your problem requires kraken's staff to be solved.

Try to escalate your ticket number in their subreddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/KrakenSupport/) by starting a thread and filling out this form (http://www.kraken.com/escalate-your-ticket). There's also twitter: https://twitter.com/krakenfx

Your account from Kraken might be temporarily disabled due to many invalid attempts.
Are you using the same username on other websites? If yes then maybe there is someone who tries to log in(brute force) using your username on Kraken that leads to your account temporarily disabled.

The only solution for this is to contact support and let them know about your issue.

In case someone knows your username I think it would be better to tell Kraken support to change your username as well for security purposes.

Also, try to login to another browser or incognito mode, or it might be because of your DNS cache. Try to use the command prompt and use this command "ipconfig /flushdns" without quotes.
Then try to login again with your account and password.

I just search google and the results seem to show that it's a common problem. At this point only their support can help you. You must crosscheck your login credentials to be sure that there is not a slight mistake such as a space after the username or email

You should try to contact them via chat instead of a support ticket. They're always available and can speed up your ticket or even fix your issue directly and faster.

If you see in the chat a virtual assistant bot, ask it to talk with a real human, or trigger the keyword to do it

A hacker can't brute force the user's password with Kraken. Or rather I shall say it is of no use to him since Kraken sends a unique code to the user's email address for each new device trying to connect. So even if the person manages to find the correct password he won't be able to do something with it.
