BACK STORY...

2013 I bought a small amount of BTC (approx 3)....I know, I know, duh!!!
Trying to sort through a pile of scribble from back then....had done ALOT of reading about it, and jotting notes.  Obviously I missed one very important factor though!!!

I remember thinking that it might be wise to put small amounts into separate wallets/exchanges, because some exchanges might go under, or not be legit.  Also had notes about paper wallets.
I have now managed to claim/determine a few...localbitcoin wallet, Blockchain wallet, MtGox (grrrrrr).  Still have about 1.6 I cant access.

When I remembered the info and was able to access my Blockchain.com wallet, I saw that the wallet was empty but there was an IMPORT address that contained coin (1.009).  I simply had to 'transfer' it to my default wallet...yeah, done!!!  HOWEVER, I discovered I had 3 additional wallets on Blockchain...each connected to different emails...vaguely remember setting up additional with small amounts so I could give to my adult sons, who at the time thought 'silly mom, falling for a scam' ha.  Amidst my 2013 scribble, were 3 sets of recovery phrases...each with more than 12 words.  Had to do more research to figure out where to input these lengthy phrases.  Managed to have 2 phrases work, and allow access to 2 additional Blockchain wallets.  Uhhhh both contained 0.  Makes no sense.  I wouldn't have made additional wallets to just leave them empty!  Unfortunately, I now know that when a pass phrase is used to gain info/access to your wallet, your imported addresses are not retained.
QUESTION...Is the bitcoin from the imported addresses that weren't transferred now lost?  I think I already know the answer:( just confirming.  Appreciate any responses.

ps...I have a few strings of numbers (thinking one is wallet ID #) that says 0 transactions on the block.  Could it be a paper wallet that has just never been entered into the blockchain...that will be my next issue to figure out!

If you import an address, you only have view-only wallet.

You only have full wallet from which you can send your bitcoin, if you have private key or mnemonic seed. If your wallet is old one (2013), I think what you have is only private key.

As you described that you only have wallet ID, and don't have private key, so I am sorry, you can not retrieve your bitcoin.

The wallets from blockchain.info (now blockchain.com) should be accessible via their website. I believe they have upgraded their wallet implementation multiple times, so you may need to contact support to get help. You will likely need to have access to the email address used to sign up for the wallet, and a passphrase you used when you created the wallets. You may also be able to use the Wallet ID in lieu of your email account.

The wallet provider blockchain.info used to generate additional addresses each time you requested a new address, and would back up the private keys periodically, however after many customers had problems with newly generated private keys not backing up, they eventually transitioned to deterministc generation of private keys to solve this problem. If you created your wallet in 2013, I believe most likely, blockchain.info was using the former implementation at the time.
