There are fake BDO Officers calling people to tell them they’ve qualified for a credit card limit increase and waived annual fees for life. The scammers tell the person they’re calling that all they have to do to enjoy these new benefits is read the “activation code” that they’ll receive via text.

That activation code is actually an OTP linked to one of their bank accounts.

Be smarter than a scammer. BDO Officers will never ask you for your credit card number, credit limit, expiry date, CVV, or OTP!

Buti nalang yong BDO officer ko eh medyo close ko na and pwede ko direktang tawagan sa CP nya or messenger so anything that needs to update sa kanya ko rektang naitatanong , and Iniiwasan ko makiapg transact or makipag usap regarding bank matter after office hours unless very emergency .

Hopefully wala pang nabibiktima itong BDO officer scam na mga members ng forum, maraming ganito message sa phone ng nanay ko and if I feel like replying, inuubos ko yung oras nila. Kausapin niyo yung mga kakilala niyo guys in regards to this kind of scam kasi siguradong mabibigla sila sa offer at baka kagatin nila yung pain ng scammer.

If those fake "BDO officers" alam yung info ng mga BDO users na alam nila kahit the mobile numbers alone, obvious na meron silang copy ng data ng mga users ng banko siguro on particular na branch, at more likely inside job kung ganun. Used BDO pero never naman ako nakatanggap ng ganitong email/calls or etc.
