Crypto mining make lots of whales out of the first miners

If you can turn back the hands of time which crypto coin will you start mining? I had all the chances to become a big whale in crypto space today through mining, I even had a friend who want to give me 1 BTC in 2012 and I still turn him down saying it's nonsense, I had a lot of PCs laying around in that very year too but I couldn't mine a single BTC or any other altcoins until it's too late

That's crypto space for you  , every new turn is an opportunity that won't last for long, at first it was PoW coins and slowly POS coins comes along and again we saw POC and ICO, years later IEO was born and today it's DeFi, I hope you learned something from this, every crypto cycle is an opportunity for the smart ones, grab what you can and exit

What makes you think that early miners of coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Doge coin, XMR and others are all whales today? Many lost their private keys and never get their coins back and some don't have the nerve to hold the coins for years , they probably sold off and walk away
