Hi guys,

I come here finding some help.

I created an OKEx account two days ago because the Tezos (XTZ) deposits on Binance was disabled for 6 hours and I need to exchange some XTZ.

After create the account, I sent 39 XTZ. I know this is my fault, I should sent first a little amount, but you know, you see OKEx in Coinmarketcap, his volume, etc... and you think is a good exchange, not a bullshit site.

As you will imagine, 48 hours ago, my money are not in my account and OKEx supports directly not answering my tickets.

Are you sure that you send the XTZ to right address?

Sometimes these issues may occur but you need to wait for the response from support which may even take a week so just wait.

If they still don't wanna give you any response then start a scam accusation thread.

Did they give you any reason for the deletion of the ticket you've sent to them? is that ticket you've made is the "chat with us" feature that you can see below their page?

Contact them through telegram.

Just be careful of scammers and imitators, contact the actual support on that group.
No reason for delete the second ticket. The first of them continues open, but no replies since 14th february at 7.30 AM.

If they have a problem with XTZ node, I'm just asking for a response like:

"hey bro, sorry, our XTZ node needs an upgrade/resync, wait for 48-72h and your deposit will be credited".

This would be to get angry but at least I have an honest answer and I no longer worry.

But no, they choosen a generic response and after that, the silence as a response, and only when I posted this and make some noise on twitter, they suspended the XTZ deposits:

That's normal if we're having problems with their deposits/withdrawals. They should have given the notice to make their users aware of certain coins that have caused troubles or worries for their users. If there's an update like this.

They should have properly announced it, didn't they gave you any notice in your email? if they just have given this notice after your complaints to them, now we know that they're like that.

1000% sure.

I tried to take an screenshot and now they disabled the deposits.

If you read carefuly my first post, I'm waiting without response for 48 hours, and also they ignoring my ticket replies, when I only asked for info that what's happening. It is too much to ask them to tell me: we have a problem with the xtz daemon, we are working on it?


Maybe working on it... after 2 days, 4 tickets and 50 tweets...

I will update if they finally solves the issue.

But even if they do it, it is a complete lack of respect how they treat his customers...

Its already 48 hours but from the exchanges point of view its just 48 hours, as I said it may even take a week and they will hide under the bull market for the slow response. But its weird that they deleted the second ticket, probably they consider it as dupication?

Most of the exchanges treat the people in the same way but there is no other option on exceptional circumstances.

I neve use OKEx and don't have plans of using them but i cannot find any bad reputation on them so meaning so far they are cool.

Maybe they are having some Upgrade and it's just happen that the timing is from your depositing time, try to extend your patience and if the issue persist for long then better to file a formal scam accusation against them in right section.

OKex of all exchanges? This exchange have zero bad negative reputation mate, I hope you know what you are doing? Anyways keep us posted if any change occurs, you can contact their team through telegram channel faster than any other ways

As far as I know, okex needs 2 - 3 days to give a response to your ticket and you should wait for another day again. There are lots of people have been complaining on the official telegram group of okex too and I guess you can also monitor it from there. https://t.me/OKExOfficial_English

I see your xtz just arrived to your okex address on Feb 14 and forwarded to okex delegator address on Feb 16. I am not familiar with tezos blockchain so I don't really now how it's work.
But according to my personal experience using okex since 2017 and have no real problem with the exchange, maybe I can assure that they never scamming people. Technical problem in an exchange is a normal thing imo.
I usually wait about 4-24 hours to get response from support. I hope you get the reply from support soon and get back you coin.

Disregard this guy complaint, He didn't know what's going on to the project he is investing. Tezos just recently upgrade there blockchain to Edo 2 days ago that's why many exchange are still upgrading on there wallet. I experience 12hrs delay too on my transfer that time and this issue is not account holding from Okex.

Okay so this most likely be the case but can you put up some links on the recent announcement about Tezos upgrade?

If thats the case then this would really be needing some updates and waiting game.
Okex wont be messing up into their reputation with just some peanut amounts.
