I have a FPGA board laying around and I was wondering if I could use that to mine Ethereum? Is this possible/profitable and are there any tutorials online on how to set this up?

Only if it has hbm memory on it and more than 4gb worth.  The only FPGA i know that currently does this are the SQRL units.  The FK33 JC35 both have the hbm and the most important part .... a working Bitstream.  They are efficient but not common and not cheap (as if any mining gear is reasonable right now).  The learning curve is much steepe than gpu minings and its much easier to damage the hardware.

So chances are your fpga cannot.  As most FPGAs in this world cannot.

I see, thanks for the reply. This is the FPGA board that I have: https://www.terasic.com.tw/cgi-bin/page/archive.pl?Language=English&No=836. I'm guessing there is no use for it then?

Yeah no.  Not for mining.
