Help: I Think a Mixer Scammed Me

Hello,
I'm starting to get a little worried, as the mixer I have used has not acknowledged my payment, even after it has received multiple confirmations on the blockchain. I have the feeling that I got scammed from a website called MyCryptoMixer. The website itself looks very high-quality, but after you deposit money nothing happens. I have the feeling that this whole website was rigged in order to get people to deposit their money into what is essentially a black hole. What's even worse is that I put a fairly substantial amount of Bitcoin (13) into the mixer, which is now in the hands of whoever owns this terrible operation. With the extreme amount of money I've lost, I definitely should have done some more research, but maybe this can be a teaching moment for others considering the usage of a mixing service to never consider MyCryptoMixer.

I suggest you provide evidence on your claim. MyCryptomixer still has an open accusation but it seems that the OP of that accusation made mistakes and can't really prove that MyCryptomixer scammed him.


I suggest looking at this thread and look for what evidence you need to have to prove you've used the service and made the transaction(as far as I know having the letter of guarantee is very important). I am not really sure what you need to have that is why I am referring you to the thread

What a coincidence, another person that was allegedly scammed by MyCryptoMixer for the exactly same amount  as another user reported few weeks ago.

Let's say for a second that it really happened the way you described it; why on earth would you send such a big amount of BTC to the service that you never used before? Why not start with smaller amounts first?

Really looking forward you providing some evidence like letter of guarantee.

you say you are feeling that you were scammed, but did you at least get in touch with their support before creating a thread here on the forum?

you didn't send PM to them

in my opinion before creating this thread you should have used all possible means to contact them and if they didn’t solve your problem after some time even though you contacted them then you could come and create that thread with proof

You have to confirm that you really get scammed not because you are feeling that you are, everyone who files a complaint here has confirmed that they have been scammed, confirmed it first, then tell us what happens, tell the whole story, give us the full details like circumstances, amount screenshots and details, people here don't do guessing game.

photonfarm, I think they give a letter of guarantee - do you have it? Without giving legitimate evidence your claim will not be considered serious. There are a lot of people who wastes other users time.

Signing from the sending address can also proof the legitimacy and Mycryptomixer may accept that as I have seen in another post of Mycryptomixer. Did someone PM MCM about this issue?

This thread is a waste of time, the newbie who would like to open a scam accusation should read the pin thread or even other member's thread so they can have the right format on opening the right format, I have seen a lot of newbies doing this, this is not an accusation but an opinion because OP is not giving all the information about what happened.

If they could make every details public, why would they use mixer in the first place? They have privacy. Let's respect that privacy. Well, the thread could be well organized a little bit more but that doesn’t make the claim invalid.

It just looks to me like this is the same @Cowboy310 guy who opened up a scam accusation on Feb claiming that his 13 BTC was stolen. I don't think it's a coincidence that 2  users come out to complain that they both lost 13 BTC to a mixer

I was able to locate the accusation topic against MyCryptoMixer by other user. Please be advised that without any proof nothing will be taken serious. There are users whose moral are too low that they always want to others business.

Without a proof no one will believe you, unless you provide your claim with reliable evidence.

But if your misfortune really happens its sad if you lost that huge amount, you could’ve done a research before you used that platform or you should’ve tried a small amount atleast to test if the platform works before going all in.
