I saw some news article on kitco.com (video interview) titled "Frank Giustra challenges Michael Saylor to gold vs Bitcoin debate" and from the video interview kitco had with  Frank Giustra who happens to be a gold guru called out Michael Saylor who happens to be a crypto to a gold vs Bitcoin debate.

Do you think such a debate would bring more investors into the crypto world?

no, it won't generate investors. but with that debate there will be a lot of people who understand about bitcoin and blockchain. everyone who watches the debate will probably be interested in crypto and learn about it. this will also be good for the crypto ecosystem in the future. the more people who know about crypto the sooner mainstream adoption becomes a reality.

Yeah right, recommended videos are all over the social media sites, the moment you search or you accidentally watch any videos it will
reflect to your account and there videos which related to what you previously watch to comes up.
For now, that debate is already known and it depends to whoever who'll going to watch to dictate their opinions.
That's the beauty of algorithms because it helps you widen your interest and help the content creators gather more audiences, the only problem that I see is that it sometimes favor clickbait videos which isn't good since a lot of deserving.content creators are missing out on audiences and audeinces are missing out on creators that might become their new favorite.

In the date who ends up winning determines that. But anyway, I don’t think all that is necessary, whether there are debates or no debates, people are still going to be investing their money in cryptocurrency and also investing in stocks like gold.

So, all these debates are not really what determines that, but it can still help some people when they are about to make a decision on what to go for, especially those that are still newbies, that’s the area I think it’s mostly going to be helpful for people. And then it’s good that we keep doing things that gets the name out, so that a lot of people will get to know about cryptocurrency and invest their money in it.

Debate is not a criteria to know the best option of valued anything, debating can be another way of making something to be well known around the geographical region.

Definitely. I have no doubts at all. Such interview/debates are always helping bitcoin world to be growing into new levels as such debates are bringing new investors on board. Promotions are always good for making more people to adopt and I am seeing these debates are kind of promotions for bitcoins.

Even some people do not get convinced on hearing about bitcoin for the first time, they will get back to know more about bitcoins if they come across if bitcoin gets into higher prices like $100k or anything similar. So, having this kind of debate is very important.

But the price debate shouldn't be the main motivation for newcomers to get into touch with cryptocurrencies. The financial incentive does play a role, but if they willing to put in the effort and develop a decent understand of cryptocurrencies they are much more likely to turn into real Bitcoin supporters. That's why debates are important, but those talking in favor of Bitcoin need to be good at breaking down complex theory into practical knowledge.

It's only when there is a lot of hysteria in the market that google searches shoot up and many of those interested are rather watching out for a quick buck than about understanding Bitcoin in depth.
