It's great of you to have created such very organized compilation. There are probably more of these skeptics than those indicated in your site. If I'm not mistaken, Mark Cuban or Bill Gates, for example, have already voiced their skepticism over Bitcoin.
I don't mean to invalidate the effort that OP has put in this database of skeptics but I don't see any use of it but trying to make these skeptics look hypocritical when they suddenly become more engaged and retract their stance on bitcoin.
It is subjective. It's completely up to you how you interpret their U-turn. But admitting that you were wrong is not so bad after all. Well, provided it is genuine.
For me, I'd readily embrace people who admit they're finally enlightened on Bitcoin. I wouldn't call them hypocrites if they will do an about-face, even this late. On the contrary, they're hypocrites if they still stick to their old criticisms over Bitcoin even in the face of rising adoption and acceptance.
I suspect that even hardcore Bitcoin critics such as Peter Schiff has already some idea that Bitcoin's future may even be brighter. The problem is that one has already strongly identified himself too much as a critic that he feels he cannot anymore jump ship without the risk of being called a turncoat or something. That's a bigger hypocrisy. You are lying to yourself.
After all, who was a complete Bitcoin believer right from the start? Many of us were once skeptics in this Bitcoin thing years ago. Saylor was. CZ was. Even Andreas used to be a skeptic. Vitalik was the same.
