[WARNING] MMAON Token Scam to All User

What happened::

In 19 March 2021 I was looking for MMAON Token Web, somehow I get some security issue, then I go their telegram group & ask for admin how can I report those issue, then an admin come in PM

After Discuss With Zlatko Mahic (admin of MMAON) I submit all Security Issue Even he promised They Give Reward For bug / Security Issue Report, I send all Issue in Docs File He Checked & Fixed All issue & give me Block In Telegram also No Reply, Even When I Try To Connect in the group he Ban Me From group, I try to Contact Her Support team They Also Ignore Me , that Mean They are ignored because of They actually do Scam with me

From what I can see on that screenshot, he said that they will give a reward if that bug was real, and I guess they didn't think so. It's not like you signed some contract with them or anything.

To be honest, based on your conversation you seem like one of those "website bug hunters" that pester admins in Telegram groups. I've encountered quite a few of those when I did some admin work in the past so no wonder than ended with you getting blocked & banned.

The lesson here for you is do not offer one if they are not offering a bug bounty officially on their chat, I have seen a lot of people offering a bug bounty and they might think that you're trying to scam them, or if you request to fix the bug it's better to ask for escrow, we'll wait for the developer of MMAON Token and let's see how he counter this.

As far as I know MMAON doesn't have an account or announcement thread here so I really doubt that anyone from the team will bother to reply this.

OP made a mistake by sending those "bugs" that he found without really being asked to do that. For that all he got is a vague promise of reward if bug is real. I mean it's one thing to look report on bug if there is some official bug bounty on the website and the other to do it the way OP did. I hope that he learned the lesson so he doesn't waste his time in the future.

Darren here from MMAON. We've had multiple attempts on our website, Telegram and social media accounts from hackers. One who I suspect is the OP. Nobody promised the OP anything, as seen in the chat logs.

The timing of the OP contact was after we rewarded somebody in our Telegram group who found one of the many scam groups we've located on Telegram. We rewarded him with some MMAON tokens and shortly after... OP got in contact offering to find a bug (which isn't even with our token).

We didn't want to have to respond to this. But feel his allegations are untrue and damaging. I'd urge forum/OP to delete the post!

Why is he charging you when it's not even your token that he had to fix or fixed it's like fixing a house the house of your neighbor and coming to you to charge you for fixing your neighbor's house, you did the right thing of clarifying this but you have to also show proof since he showed us proofs.

Even if the allegation is not true, developers should answer all allegations to protect their reputation, it's OP's turn to answer now.

First of all, nice to see that you decided to respond to this. As I said before, I saw similar things during my work as a telegram admin, those professional "bug hunters" saying that they found bugs and then contacting the team and asking for money.

Forum staff usually don't delete these kind of topics, no matter whether scam accusation has any grounds or not. The best you can hope for is OP locking this topic/changing the title but somehow I don't think that will happen so you will have to live with this.

If OP cannot sustain his allegation, then he deserves to be tagged for giving us misleading information and for ruining the reputation of one project, it's not right it's like taking the developers on hostage because he did not give in on his wishes.

There's a lot of these roaming around the telegram channel, the bug hunters, the exchange broker, the influencer, you have to be an experienced channel administrator so you'll know who is real and who are trying to scam the project, you have to be strict and smart when chatting to these people, on OP's allegation the developer already answered and the table is now on him, let's see who's reputation will be in a bad light here.

Just don't tell me that you casually browsed the website and that you didn't look for bugs on purpose. On the other hand, I did find that part about rewarding one of the users for finding the scam group, as mentioned by @DarrenMMAON

Correct! No scam in our group. We rewarded the member who found this SCAM group with some MMAON as a thanks from the team.

But that's only a screenshot of your conversation with someone called "Zlatko Mahic", and you already shared that before. In one of your previous posts you said that "If Your Say You did not Fix Bug Then I will Show all Bugs in Here If You Force me to Prove " so I asked you to provide some proof of all those bugs that you find and that it was fixed only after your intervention.

But as i said before, even if you provide proof of that, all you got from MMAON admin is some vague promise of tokens if bug is real, with no exact criteria what "real bug" means, how much tokens you gonna get etc. I suggest that you change your approach from now on.
