The first that will be discussed in this article is economic. XAU.Finance economic system currently consists of 2 rebasing tokens:
xauGOLD (xGOLD)xauUSD (xUSD)xGOLD and xUSD are rebasing tokens similar to Ampleforth (AMPL), however with added Fee-on-Transactions (FoT) that provides sustainable APY for Liquidity Pool farmers and less sell pressure that benefits token holders.
Currently xGOLD has 2% and xUSD 1% FoT that will be adjustable in the future via governance. Tokens are rebased every 12 hours based on prices obtained via ChainLink. All technical details will be provided on our GitBook.
Additionally,
XAU.Finance (XAU) token has dual purpose as it serves as the governance token and also can be added to single-assets vault to mine a proportion of FoT from xGOLD and xUSD.
XAU token is ERC20 and has a very limited supply of
1,000 XAU making it possibly the most scarce DeFi token ever. Currently, we are planning to distribute around over 35% of its supply via XAU/ETH Liquidity Pool Vault mining. All tokens can be now obtained on UniSwap:
