My only advice is to read more and explore the vast cryptospace, do not be locked inside the bitcoin box, there are other cryptocurrency out there that is successful and not getting you hands on them is not really a good idea since you are missing out on profit.

Yes to make choices in altccoins is another cool  way for profit, the bull run has made the market in green and hodler who have altccoins that they feel were shits but they have appreciated tremendously.

We'll were once beginners in this journey and here are some few words for your start:- There are not much in trade sincerely except if you are such that can't control emotions. Basic studies of trade is the most important as a beginner, there are resources on the internet that can help your knowledge and as time goes on perfection will set in. Basics like candle sticks, types of crosses and other more basic TA, this will help your mindset grow more faster as a beginner. As for a start $50 should be set aside as your capital to start trading, though this should be according to your ability and capacity.
