I've tried making a few posts before hand and a few got missing or deleted, I don't know. As much as it discouraged me, it also pointed out the fact that, the forum is highlymoderated and I ain't getting something right and I want to get it right.

You don't need to make posts to learn from this forum, the most basic questions have been asked hundreds of times, so the first thing you need to do is to learn how to use the search function. You should post when you feel like you're contributing to the discussion, not just to increase your post count. Because of the merit system, chasing activity is pointless if you're not going to earn even a single merit.

Having deleted post is one thing that is common amongst most beginners and many users in this forum. Even as a ranked up member, you could still get deleted posts. Either due to your own mistakes or having a reply for a topic deleted alongside the topic and It isn't a bad thing, really. It just means you posted something off or out of its place or you just happened to have posted something that doesn't make sense but its okay as it helps to bring out the best in you.

Well, there's always room for improvement in every learning process and as such, everyone didn't just jump from novice to pro without having some deleted contents and actually putting in work. Your welcome to try and better your way in the forum. Like the previous user said, its not just about posting, you reading and building your knowledge about bitcoin and the forum is of the essence.

I've recommend keeping this thread handy whenever you run into an issue or aren't quite sure on something. Other than that, you can send a message to me if you truly are stuck on something, as long as its not a obvious question, which has already been answered in the above thread I'll likely get back to you.

Although, do try to use a search engine or the built in forum search function to find anything you aren't up to scratch on. I wouldn't say the forum is highly moderated though, a lot of things that get posted here would likely be deleted elsewhere. We focus on filtering out the spam, but we tend to keep to the principles of allowing free speech etc.

Usually newcomers to the forum make the same mistake.

They come here to ask questions because there are things they don't know or don't understand and instead of searching they start new topics about things that were discussed over and over in many other topics made by other people. Then their topics get deleted and they feel frustrated that the forum doesn't allow them to ask anything and is harsh to newbies.

As anew person try to do some research on existing topics first and you'll do better than 90% of people who come here.
