Lost Ethereum Poloniex the dao investement

Hello everyone!

Back in 2016 i bought some The Dao tokens at Poloniex. To do this i transferred first 25 (at 20 may 2016) and then 150 Ether (at 25 may 2016) from my personal Ethereum adress to my Poloniex Ethereum adress. So a total of 175 Ether.

My Poloniex Ethereum adress: 0xc4baf43cb81b2fc4d93dd6b733ad0df283f6fd1d

Well we all know what happend to this project later on. My question however is, i never recieved any Ethereum back from the Extrabalance account from Poloniex. I cant figure out exactly what happend in the blockchain. Is there any one who can help figure it out. No need to say that there is a reward if im entiteld to something

It's been 2016 ago, why are you asking this now? Poloniex has announced that the extrabalance is credited. https://twitter.com/Poloniex/status/790235115557453824

I'm not sure that anyone joined this program here, you better ask poloniex support. They should be able to help you even though this program has been outdated for a long time, considering your large purchased amount when compared to current ETH prices.

I don't understand why you didn't receive all 150. But that's so long ago, and you migh have received the remaining ETH in another address.

It is very unlikely that Poloniex will help. It is 5 years ago, you should have looked at it earlier, a lot of things might have happened and most documents/logs/ etc might have been lost already...

In 2017 i retrieved some back with my personal adress, never with Poloniex. I tried to contact them a while ago but it was a 5 min chat with some one who didn't know anything. I thought if i can figure it out on my own with the blockchain, maybe they can get in to it. I mean its blockchain so everything can be checked.

It was active at the same time you made transactions with your other personal wallet address

Did you have a kraken account at any one time?

This my other personal address. I retrieved some Ethereum with that as well. It's my personal Poloniex address that didn't get anything retrieved. I remember we had to transfer Ethereum to a Poloniex address in order to invest in The DAO.

Poloniex support are probably the ones in the best position to provide a probable solution to your problem.

The issue is it's been a very long time, and you are probably going to get clueless support reps who won't give you many details.
But I would suggest you don't give up until you have to, try contacting them through all available communication channels

I hope you can get complete help from the poloniex customer support but why wait so long before looking into this!  back in 2016 the price of eth was around $165 according to the etherscan compare eth at current price now, that's quite a lot of money if you are able to get them back.

I will advise you keep getting in touch with poloniex for their full support, request to speak with someone who has been with them for sometime perhaps he/she may have a clue what to do, it is a long shot though.
