Probably this is impossible or highly unlikely, but I'd like your ideas or opinions.

In April 2014 I have obtained approx. 500,000 (half a million) DOGE, then representing a value of ~200 USD. On Jan 14th, 2015, I have transferred these DOGE to Cryptsy. A little while after that the Crypsy exchange seized to exist.

I did not participate in the Class Action, as I did not even remember that I had DOGE there. Also, even in 2017 this was still not about a substantial amount of money (only ~300 USD in 2017).

As I've seen the recent huge growth in value of DOGE, now I wonder, as it currently is valued over 190,000 USD, if there is any way for me to retrieve the DOGE or part thereof, or any of the value or part thereof?
I still own the, now pretty empty, wallet I sent the 500000 DOGE with.

Where have you been bro?  Shocked

There were 2 opportunities for you to recover your DOGE and all the deadlines have passed since then, the latest being about a year ago (March 13, 2020) by coinbase and you didn't bother? why?

I suggest you carefully read the notices, there could be some information that can help though you chances are very slim if there are any.

I read everything on the Class Action link, and you unfortunately missed all the possible deadlines that were set for the Cryptsy Class Action Settlement, and also for the Coinbase Class Action Settlement. I think maybe just in case you could send your details to the e-mail located at that link (info@witeslaw.com) and hope for some miracle sometime in the future.

From what I read, the biggest chance for a refund would be to succeed in arresting Cryptsy owner (Paul Vernon) who allegedly took to China.

Well, I only received a notice of the first class action lawsuit, and back then I did not know which nor how many coins there were in my account. Fast forward to last few months, when I learned about DOGE's rise in value, and remembered I had some, only to find out they were on Cryptsy after all.

The website does not exist anymore, so no.

The website still exists but the problem they turn into a feeds/blog for bitcoin casino and I think the domain was sold years ago.

Since the domain still has much traffic I think to get benefits they are going to promote a bitcoin casino. The weird thing is that I can't find any links for casinos from their site it seems the site still not finish yet.

Oh, it is a really huge amount of money at the moment. I hope you can get this money back through Bitcoin_Arena's instruction. The only thing I'm worried about now is that you might have missed out on the proper time to get your money back, but I hope it doesn't happen. Good luck to you, looking forward to hearing from you!

Thank you, although my hopes aren't high. By the way, even if you get something from a settlement, it is just a tiny fraction of the real value nowadays.

Lesson Learned: "Always be aware into your crypto holdings"

You wouldnt know on how far they would go in the future and commonly people are just neglecting it when they're cheap and now theyre trying to recover it when its already high in price.

Why cant just store them on a certain wallet which you do have access anytime?

Hope that you can retrieve it OP and thats really a big amount but as said above that dont hope that much because chances of recovery is very slim.

I don't think its value is small compared to the present, it is still big. So, can you get that money back? No? Didn't hear any other feedback from you.

I think he underestimated its value at that time, no one would have believed that DOGE could grow as horrible as it is now. It's a ridiculous growth for a coin that doesn't have much effect, LoL
