Suggestions - Mini farm build

I've got an opportunity to acquire warehouse space.  It has a 600a 3 phase service.  I currently am running 3 ASIC at my house and I'm literally out of capacity.  My question(s) are: 

- Is there something available as far as a "getting started" guide to building out a mine.  I've been researching hot/cold rooms, exhaust/intake fans, etc and feel comfortable with that.

- Surge protection?  Is that even a thing when it comes to 220v or stepping down from 3 phase?  My father is a licensed master electrician and I've got basic knowledge but I haven't seen much as far as if surge protection is needed on ASIC machines.

for easy setup in USA be make as many 30amp breakers you need for the miners. air flow wise, many solutions and there is no 1 correct way, however, you be better off isolate hot and cold area. Please be careful as mining unattended can cause the facility to burn down to the ground unexpectedly. Please install many monitoring devices or sensors to alert you of any potential problems coming at you

Current generation hardware is about in the range of 3000-3500 watts at 220v.  It will function at 208 - 240vac safely. I think the factory recommendation is at 220vac.  If you turn on 600amp worth, it will cause significant heat as well as the noise. Please make sure your neighbor be okay with the high pitch noise for 24 hours a day. Happy Mining

Also, if you have lots of space and are not building out the full capacity all at once, you don't need to go crazy with the whole hot/cold aisle setup right out of the gate. You just need good ventilation in the area.

As for surge protection, it can't hurt, but whether it's needed or not is more about what risk you are comfortable with. Getting 100 PSUs fried from a lightning strike or power surge caused by a tree falling on some power lines would be a big hit, but what are the chances of that happening? More likely in some places than others I suppose. I'd put in some protection at the main panels or sub-panels if it wasn't too expensive, but I would not go spend tons of $ on PDUs with their own surge protection and circuit breakers.

I won't be building out the entire space....  It's approx 6,500 sq ft and right now I've got 3 ASIC up and running at my house and 4 sitting waiting to be utilized.

this quantity and floor space, you do not need to worry about building any wall or segregation. Until summer, you have plenty of time to experiment to build a small mining room. HomeDepot or Costco metal shelving be plenty with some 2x4 with drywall can do the job. Please buy a good commercial grade internet router and network switch and some camera and a laptop to leave in the warehouse to easy remote in to check on your equipment. Happy Mining

appreciate the responses.... I guess the one thing I haven't seen answered which maybe it isn't that big of a deal.  Do I need some type of surge protection?
