setting up profile for Pancake Swap: how do I unlock my 1.5 cakes to set up?

I know quite a bit about crypto but I havn'et used pancakeswap til recently.   I have 20 bucks in my account in pancake swap but it says I have to set up the profile and I don't know how to "unlock" the cake to set up the profile? my binance.us accont is locked out of the 2factor authentication and I am waiting on the don't know if that effects it or not thank you.

It is unnecessary to setup your pancake profile, there is no use to have it for this moment, you can use your 20bucks buy pancake and stake it in their sytup pool, but make sure that you also a bnb balance in your metamask wallet or trust wallet or any wallet that are supporting pancakeswap.

You only get an NFT after you set up profile on Pancake Swap, but who knows in the future Pancake Swap give airdrop/event only for users who set up the profile? But if you don't want to set up the profile it's up to you, you can still use the service.

I have a metamask on the etheirum mainnet and a trust wallet... there are no bnb in the trust wallet but I want to convert my 20 cakes to a little less than 1 BNB and buy some real cheap high volume coins... it's very frustrating as the coins price keeps going up and I don't know how to unlock the wallet...

all my other coins are on ETH in metamask and I would prefer to not have to change to BNB tha'ts why I got the trust wallet?

Pancake swap is not a wallet, it's a exchange and not for hold your token.
Have you follow my link above? There's no such unlock cake besides setting up profiles or it's better if you attach an images about your issue, so it will make everything clear.

i will post a pic if this doenst work... I have downloaded trust wallet and metamask etc when I click on the "connect" in the upper right hand screen nothing happens.

Can you answer the following questions for me,
- Did you really buy CAKE? If yes, what wallet did you use when you bought it?
- My initial thought when you said "unlock" is you cannot move your tokens so do you have a BEP-20 BNB in your wallet?

I did not buy CAKE specifically I thought it was created when I bought some jindo inu and approved the token for liquidity? I am on a desktop. and use the phone as the prices are better.

If my lower left hand screen it says "16$ and it fluctuates".  I though CAKE was generated.  I don't personally care about the cake unless I it buys me more coins and I can access it?

I want to trade bnb coins with my wallet. Does the whole thing not function if I have a "zero balance" of BNB on the wallet?  I want to use the Trust for BNB chain and my metamask for eth chain because some coins are cheaper on the desktop denomlinated in BNB and not ETH.

I can't get into my binance.us account.  I have emailed them for MONTHS and they never fix the "google authenticator" reset.

I don't know if it's useful or not, can setting a profile for pancakes add something or maybe a new nft? because I don't change things like that because for me it will be changed or not it will stay the same.
but maybe in the future it will be better if pancake can add airdrop by adding profile

If you like the binance ecosystem, then buy some BNB coins. You can do this through an exchange that does not require the KYC procedure, if you do not exceed the daily withdrawal limits.

Oh okay I think I'm following it now. Where did you stake the JIND that you bought? I don't see that liquidity pair on PancakeSwap.

I'm afraid that's not how it works. CAKE is generated from farming and staking. The price on the left was only for monitoring purposes.

You cannot trade BEP-20 tokens like CAKE on BSC exchanges like PancakSwap if you do not have BNB.
The same how you cannot trade on Ethereum DEX without ETH for gas.

1. Binance Native Chain
2. Binance Smart Chain - BSC for short
