ETH is falling fast right now. At what point do you get out?

It's funny to see that as at march this year, this thread is asking for when to get out of ether at #1400, 1500 not knowing that ether will get to $4000 ATH! One thing is absolutely true for cryptocurrency, holding is the  best stratergy profidede you are holding bitcoin or ether! There some other quality erc 20 to hold as well like MWG!

yeah crazy right? many people actually thinking of cashing out when it's just $1,5K now it's dumping a bit from $4k++ people already panicking, it's what crazy with crypto market nowadays, people easily disregard achievement of certain coin just because it got dumped meanwhile we're all still above ATH compared to last year, but I guess that just means the standard valuation for crypto increased significantly which is good thing.

Obviously, to stick to Ethereum is a very positive thing if you want to do it, but not only for investment, you can follow. but it is clear now that it is good to do daily trading, because the difference between increasing and decreasing movements is enough to provide good profits if done.

I agree with you that besides ethereum there are now many good altcoins growing and are very suitable for investment. but in order to refrain from immediately wanting to invest in altcoins that have not yet entered the market, because it is likely that they will quickly decline and disappear from the stock market.

Buying at the peak and seeing the market movement right now is really worrying, you need to have a good insight in terms of dealing
with your decision making, it's not going to be  easy as the value is now falling and the recovering part may take that long, unless you
are aiming for long term hold which you set everything up before investing.

What I mean is that is to think wisely, selling it now could be the best option (for me). In fact, we can buy it again if we want to. What makes it important is to save our funds as it was more regretable when we miss this thing just like we did last bullish season.

You can ydo this if you have that nerve to play with the volatile movement, though it's risky but if you have good faith with your knowledge
it's possible for you to work it out and earned back those losses.

So i've been through the roller coaster from this coin, even though the market crash again like 2017 i will not sell it.

My target is more than $10k, when the price hit $10k i will sell half of my investment.

It is interesting how the ETH hodlers have conviction, and not only the small ones but the big hodlers, those who have to move the market, are they waiting for the macro movement of BTC when it reaches at least $ 100k? Because something the market has shown us is that when BTC goes up, the first currency to go up in the same direction is ETH.

One of my friends from Russia just sold his 20 ETH at 3k$. He feels that the price will be dumped to 2000$ or less before gaining back the momentum. No idea how correct that speculation will be but if ETH bounces back from here then it will be a hard slap on his face. The long-term holders are not transferring their ETH but the short-term traders are selling like it's the end of the world.

It depends at what price you got in, if this is looking like break even for you, convert your coins into a stablecoin and wait for the dust to settle and see another opportunity to get into the market again.

So many coins are now down, so we need to calm down because if you do panic selling you can maybe get loss, falling of price is normal if theres a correction so don't think that it will always fall because after the falling of the price it will rise again that's how crypto market goes we are always on high volatility and that is normal thing so be patient and wait.

Wrong, just two month ago people are speculating whether ETH could breakthrough $2000 or not turns out it reached $4000 and even after massive dip it's still way above what people have predicted.

I think many people also get illusioned as if most of coins has lost its worth meanwhile just few months ago the price isn't even half of the current price, Ethereum included since it's also among the few coins that show significant growth this year.
if the dip ends and its gonna go back up again i think Ethereum could go back to $4000 in no time.

I set a goal for myself not to sell cryptocurrency without special need, including if its price goes down rapidly. In general, with regard to the fall in the price of ETH and other cryptocurrencies, then after each fall there is an increase and if you know how to wait, you will probably wait for a good price and be able to sell your cryptocurrency and make a good profit.

Indeed, it is better if in a situation like now where all coins have decreased in price very drastically, we should not sell them. Because usually it won't
take long for the market to recover and all the coins will go up in price again. So in a situation like now, we really have to be patient to HODL coins
we have. Don't because we panic, then sell the loss of ETH or other coins that we have. Market falls like now are a common thing in the crypto world,

Maybe and I think this is the most likely scenario as well but you know what they say in crypto about being closer to zero than the targets we want. l think also that ETH can get down to 2000$ not more than that, overall this year was one of the best years for cryptocurrencies, and including ETH most currencies have reached their own ATH. However, l believe this will not end, ETH will start growing up again in the near future. It is just a chance for us to earn some money from ETH investment, to buy ETH at this price can bring us success in the future. That is why ETH will not stay 2.354$ for a long time as expected.

Here we go, welcome below the $2,000 mark! Frankly speaking, we have seen ETH lose 90% of its value before and right now it is hard to find reasons why it shouldn't drop that far this time.

This is a dangerous game right now and it die down further and further with everyone hoping each day it will turn around. Everyone thought the same during the last dips and crashes. Maybe we see even below $1,000 prices.
