Anyone offering BTC Reward on cracking their BIP38 passphrase? I have designed a brute force cracker when public and private key is known and passphrase is combination of 5-6 characters of say 7-8 in length.

Eg: When passphrase is say combination of characters "a","b","c" and the length of passphrase is max 10 then I can crack the BIP38 passphrase provided you have the BIP38 paperwallet (Public and private key)

Sample-

This has 0 btc
Public key = 19poPkk2DHxi677jM4GAYPsQQUUJY41MGP
Private key = 6PfLnhL94oENKLvT8DnPodQYN5e3TLHobxTAtShaZDTKz8ZNiwDaRgM7v5e" then my prog can find the actual passphrase.
It can be applied to any number of chars and length of passphrase but I restricted for my limited computing resources.

It cracks one passphrase in like 5-6 seconds.

Ready to share for a bounty or sell it to anyone for a mutually negotiable price.
With million new monthly bitcoin hodlers this will be a very common problem soon and a big market.

I WILL SHARE VERY DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS
if anyone wants to buy and they need not be a technical person at all. Just have a machine with Ubuntu installed.

PS: I designed since I have lost my own BIP38 passphrase  and it is at least 15 chars in length and hence will take a few yrs. I am hopeful.

If you already have both public and private keys, why do you need to crack the passphrase? you need the address and you have the private key, what else do you need other than private key? maybe you are looking for some dumb newbie to put their keys in your program to steal their coins?

You really sound like a noob when you accuse someone who have been in this space for years now

Please check BIP38 bitcoin wallets . those whose private key starts with '6'
you need an additional passphrase on top of private key to manage the funds.  Both and [url]https://walletgenerator.net]Bitaddress[.org/url] and [url]https://walletgenerator.net give the ability to generate such paper wallets.
Please go to paper wallet tab of walletgenerator and you can see the checkbox of "BIP38 Encrypt?"  That is another layer of security. even if you have the private key but your passphrase is lost , still your funds are useless and millions of $ worth bitcoin are stuck like this ..

Educate first and then invest

What happens if I import the same private key some where and withdrawal all the funds, are you willing to put your money in an address with passphrase and just giving me the private key to see if I can spend from it or not?  that passphrase you are talking about is for the wallet, this is the first time I'm hearing it.

Tesorex,

You can try it yourself. bitaddress.org and walletgenerator.org are one of the 2 oldest paper wallet generators. Long time back people used to create BIP38 paperwallets and then transfer BTC when price was a few dollars. Today it is in thousands and people have forgotten their passphrase.

Go to walletgenerator.org .. click on Paper wallet tab and checkbox on BIP38 Encrypt? then give a passphrase and click on randomly generate. it will create a paperwallet with the passphrase.

please try yourself.

thanks in advance
