Personally, I think the distinction is not due to the level of development but rather the style of leadership (when it comes to Bitcoin).

I agree with this statement.

The problem hinges on government prohibitions which creates a bar for most developing countries to enter into. Without any support from the government and knowledge about the cryptocurrency world, these countries would most likely develop less importance to the existence of all cryptocurrencies.

While I do take into consideration the negative effects that anonymity may bring, it is far outweighed on the opportunities and positive effects that it brings considering that the blockchain technology MAY be the future of transactions.

As to what others have mentioned, it is not about having a certain country being a developed or a developing one when it comes to the tolerance of bitcoin. Most of the time, the type of government decides whether they will see bitcoin as a threat or as a tool that might be a huge help someday. It can really be observed also that only the developing countries are trying to prohibit crypto as developing countries try to adjust or collaborate with crypto for the betterment of the nation itself. It can be soon a reason why other developing countries will keep on struggling with their economy.

In my opinion, this opinion cannot be applied to all developing and developed countries.
because not all developed countries are willing to open and accept Bitcoin and cryptocurrency technology. moreover, it allows its citizens to do their best with Bitcoin.
And not all developing countries are like that, prohibiting and not encouraging their citizens to be involved and involved in this technology.

This is more inclined to how governments in their respective countries view and accept cryptocurrencies. The proof is that many developing countries have legalized crypto and allow their citizens to get more leverage with Bitcoin and crypto. One of them is in my country, Indonesia which is a developing country.

while developing countries often view something new as unimportant,
The viewpoint of developed countries and developing countries on Bitcoin doesn't have to do with countries level of development because we have some developed countries that didn't support Bitcoin while some developing countries supported Bitcoin.
I believe the viewpoint has to do with each country government and understand about new innovations.

We surely have a long way to go still before we see crypto in our day to day lives.

But I am a strong believer, that the country that will be the first to adjust and accept all sorts of crypto deals will be the biggest winner! And it doesn't matter how developed country is. I wish some poorer countries see this as a chance to arise to new heights. That is of course if politicians don't start putting money in their pockets (which is always an issue, especially in developing countries).
