As El Salvador legalized BTC al legal currency I have started to look into the matter. I had no knowledge about BTC a week ago and am now trying to understand and have done a lot of reading. I sort of understand the basics now and I’m wondering how people are implementing and using BTC for daily shopping in places like #bitcoinbeach. Are most people just sticking to apps like Strike using the lightning network exclusively to cut down on fees? I suppose for most small vendors and merchants in El Salvador having a few 100$ USD on their Strike App would allow them to conduct most of their business.
Questions: 1- If most of everybody in that community uses strike, would transactions be next to free of fees while using the lightning network?
2- If people sell products using BTC over strike and lightning network, I suppose they are squiring BTC without having to pay fees in receiving? Meaning it’s one of the best ways to aquire BTC.
3- Are the only significant fees they will run into in their daily lives when they want to exchange BTC into Cash (BTC ATM or similar)?
4- Does strike allow users to keep Fiat on the app?
