I'm certain that there are others like myself who often get caught up between words when looking for the proper pronoun to describe Satoshi probably in a written sentence or a discussion. I recently made a post that involved Satoshi Nakamoto and i didn't know if to describe Satoshi as a he, a she or they.

In my head i was thinking, if i described Satoshi as a he, has that made me a sexist or a male chauvinist who has eliminated the possibility of Satoshi being female?

What if i describe Satoshi as a She, has that made me exhibit misandry?

I'm really confused about the correct pronoun to use.

Furthermore, it is difficult to come to terms with the idea that an evolution in finance and money through a project this big was propagated and single handedly done by one person...Do you think describing Satoshi Nakamoto as "they" is more appropriate?

Please share your thoughts on this.

Just straight up say Satoshi rather than using "he/she/they". Or just use the pronoun that you think most likely fits.

Seriously though, it's not like people will call you out of you used the wrong pronoun(since we don't have proof if Satoshi is a dude, a lass, or a group anyway). Don't take it too seriously.

Nobody can reveal the true identity of Satoshi Nakamoto so far.

To be correct, just call Satoshi Nakamoto or a brief version, Satoshi or satoshi. A bit difference from username on the forum and in the Whitepaper.

Let Satoshi is Satoshi.

Satoshi Nakamoto remains a myth...a legend like bigfoot, or Santa only his bread crumbs( bitcoin) is forever in our face as proof of his existence. Rumours about the identity of Satoshi: Satoshi is a Russian spy, Satoshi is british, Nakamoto is a group of developers, or even a woman  Shocked No one is going to criticize you for using a pronoun to describe Satoshi Nakamoto because no one really knows. The mystery is what keeps us going, drives us for the next knowledge as man is naturally curious.

Nope, if you're talking about something with undefined/unknown gender, it's normal to use "he", not that you're referring to a male.
Moreover, "Satoshi" is a masculine name so it's good.

This forum is privacy centered and the identity of majority of the members here are not known, so we learn everyday to use the right or appropriate pronouns for them. "They" is most appropriate imo when the gender is unknown, as mentioned above you can also use 'he' where you are not too certain and be right most of the time.

For Satoshi which could be a he, she, a group or organization, I personally use he, but since you're skeptical about which to use, try using they or the name alone.

P.S, I addressed the OP solely as 'you' in this reply.

I have noticed some people uses he/she/they for Satoshi Nakamoto because no one knows if Satoshi Nakamoto is a man, woman or group, using any of the three is not bad. But I have noticed using only 'he' is most perfect in a sentence or article or post or anything you want to call it. I mostly make use of 'he' but there are some posts I will not have option than to make use of he/she/they all together.

Personally I use "they" when I still have no confirmation with someone's identity though randomly I still refer to Satoshi as "he" but never "she".
Just like how other Wiki pages refer someone that was mentioned but never seen. Cheesy

Satoshi is a man until proven otherwise. Satoshi is a male name of Japanese origin. Since we don't know his real identity, all we have to go by is the forum name he used. And that's one used for men, not women. If his username was Sophia, we should address him with 'her'. If it was TheJohnsons, I would call him 'they'. Alas, that is not the case.
