Red Trust Signature Campaign

It is certain that those that participated in the red trust campaign as said by the OP do it with their throw away account cause no one will dare join a scam site campaign just for some token and have his account tagged.

I look deep into this issue and I believe 1xbit successful having their signature campaign on this forum was the reason why Betking joins the train and as said by the high ranked members, this forum doesn't moderate scam so there's nothing we can do about than to make newbies aware of the penalty that involved in joining this kind of project campaign.

It's likely that most of the accounts participating in these campaigns are just alt accounts of someone and they don't care about their reputation, but just want to make the most of them. Perhaps someone has already conducted some research? I didn't check the reputation section.

There will always be bad people in every online community and I think the best solution is to put all those users on ignore which will do the most damage to such campaigns.

There's a possibility, purchased ones perhaps?

I am pretty sure there are some good-hearted souls that would PM them about the risks but most likely they get ignored because, money.

If there are corrupted individuals and politicians that are willing to get their hands dirty, here's no different

We have to get used to it, 1xbit started something bad here, if this is an ICO's everything is over but they have a platform and a brand already, they should have been finished both of them because of the so many bad allegations, but gamblers like to gamble their money and like to try out or hop from one gambling platform to another and this is the reasons why these scam gambling sites are still existing.

I guess these accounts doesn't know to do their proper own research on who to promote as they just want the money they'll be earning. To newbies, if you do care about your profile better to look for the signs if it's worth it to promote or not for a signature campaign, there are users who will provide a warning on these so better check it. Trust isn't moderated here but even of all the warnings there are still users who doesn't bother to read then it can't help it.

Newbies don't really care about profiles and there's nothing a newbie account can do to promote services other than being a bounty hunter, shiller or the manager itself. I think there have been many warnings about the involvement of scam advertisements on B&H boards. In addition, I believe that those promoter's account belongs to the old members, once they are tagged they will create a new one and it will be repeated. So basically, they're the ones ignoring the warnings as far as creating a new account is easy.

Newbies should do their diligence before using a site, scam accusation, reputation, and also this section was a section to spot tremendous scam services on this forum.

They should, but they never do and never will.  The members who apply for campaigns like Betking's will try to get into any campaign they can, and they're not doing any due diligence whatsoever before they submit their application.  Personally I wouldn't tag participants (as I've stated in other threads), but I have no problem with DT members who choose to hand out negative trust to those that do participate in campaigns for scammy projects/exchanges/whatever.

Please lock your thread. It has been discussed multiple times in multiple threads in the reputation section.

I second this.  OP, if you'd looked in Reputation or Meta you would have seen threads dealing with the Betking campaign, and this thread here isn't necessary.

There is no need to keep this thread going since it has been moved to reputation from beginners and help board. I hope newbies... others would learn from this. Account farmers are making the most of the ccampaign, funny enough there is no vacancy for a junior member to participate. Anyone who has a member rank in the forum is nod longer a newbie and cannot plea ignorance. I will lock the thread now. Thank you all for your contributions
